Luxurious condo in the heart of Maui. This newly renovated unit comes complete with a full kitchen, towels and linen, and beach towels, chairs, and umbrella. A quiet place to relax, unwind and enjoy easy access to beaches, shopping, eateries. These are not party condos, quiet time begins at 9pm. Parties are not permitted inside the condo.

The space

Newly renovated including all new furniture, appliances, granite countertops, and all the kitchen goods you will need. We provide wireless internet and local telephone, linens, towels and beach equipment. The unit is air-conditioned with two ceiling fans. There is an outside lanai with patio furniture. All rates include local taxes.

Guest access

All guests have access to the community pool, barbecues and outside furniture. Charley's beach, one of the best beaches in Maui, is a block away. Within a 5-minute walk are groceries, restaurants and shopping.

Interaction with guests

We are accessible to our guests by email and telephone at all times. We have a local representative who is also available at all times.

Other things to note

Owner shall specifically not be liable to Tenant, Tenant’s guests, licenses or invitees or any other person for any injury, loss or damage to any person or property as a result of the use of any water sports or other equipment provided for Tenant’s use, such as boogie boards, beach chairs, umbrellas, snorkeling equipment and similar items. Tenant’s use of all such equipment is strictly at their own risk. Tenant shall hold Owner and the property manager and any associated companies harmless and indemnified from and against all loss, injury or damage occasioned by the use or misuse or abuse of any such water sports or other equipment, whether on or off the premises, and from or against any omission, neglect, or default of Tenant, his guests, licensees or invitees.

Guests are expected to abide by the Kalama Terrace Rules, which will be provided by email upon booking. Generally, guests are asked to observe quiet times and be respectful. There is no smoking of any kind in the unit and no pets are permitted. Occupancy by more than 4 people is strictly prohibited. Guests are also requested to remove their shoes before entering. Also, outside showers are provided so guests are asked not to bring sand into the unit. More details are provided prior to arrival.

Choosing a place to stay for 10 days, in a place you have never visited can be a little stressful. Luckily, after ready through many reviews we narrowed our choice to Colleen's condo. When we first arrived, I was a little concerned that it felt kind of closed in. However, it didn't take long and we appreciated that part. It was cozy, comfortable, clean, and complete with so many little extras that made our stay wonderful. It was so lovely to be able to cook our meals and enjoy them right out on our private lanai. The walk to the beach took less than 10 minutes and it was perfect for sunsets and snorkeling with the turtles. Lava Java Coffee is about a 6 min walk and had the best customer service and coffee. The wifi was a pleasant surprise in that it was about 20 times faster then what we have in Oregon. (It's the little things) The shared laundry space was very clean and convenient. The pool area was wonderful! Our honeymoon was all about relaxing without an agenda. The space was inviting enough to want to stay in for a nap after a morning of snorkeling. Kihei was more than I could have imagined. It's small town feel and beautiful beaches were incredible. Thank you Colleen for the little honeymoon basket of goodies and gift card. We truly have a memory that will last a lifetime.

we just can say awesome! we didn't miss a thing it was anything there. we loved it so much it was like home. the kamaole beach park 2 was so nice, we had a car so it was possible to do diffrent things

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Colleen's place for my birthday trip to Hawaii (there was even a nice little surprise waiting in the form of a gift card to a nearby restaurant, Monkeypod, from Colleen upon check-in!). We stayed for 6 nights and it was perfect for our needs: had a designated parking space for our rental car; plenty of beach towels/accessories (chair and umbrella) for us to use; within walking/quick driving distance to plenty of restaurants, beaches, and supermarkets. Colleen's instructions for the apt were all straightforward and we had absolutely zero issues with anything. The apt itself was very clean and tidy, and the area felt very safe and comfortable. I definitely hope to be back in Maui for a future vacation and would plan on staying here again!

A great place as many others have attested. Very convenient location, especially for Charlie Young beach. Minutes away from all the good snorkeling spots to the south and not too long a drive north to Lahaina and the excellent snorkeling to the north of there. Food and restaurants equally handy. We had a separate rental for our north shore excursions and I would recommend that for a complete change of pace & climate. Enjoy!

Condo was great! The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed (we made a lot of meals ourselves). All the beach gear was awesome! It was so nice just to walk a block down the the beach. Overall, I would definitely recommend Colleen's place!
