The space
Marsh End Cottage Eco Centre is thoughtfully designed to provide a peaceful and immersive experience in nature. Here’s what you'll experience during your stay:

The Pyrapod - a beautifully crafted wooden pyramid shape cabin with a full-window front that offers panoramic views of the Teme Valley, blending seamlessly into the surrounding landscape.
Equipped with modern amenities such as a heated floor, high-speed WiFi, coffee machine and a wood burner for cosy evenings. A rustic fully equipped kitchen and a modern bathroom are also attached to the pyrapod, offering convenience and comfort.

It is Ideal for single escapes, romantic couples, and digital nomads, featuring comfortable bedding, fluffy towels and space for relaxation and work.

Our Outdoor and Communal Areas:
The highlight of the property, the natural swimming pool is available for guests all year, offering a refreshing retreat and immersion in nature itself.

Amenities:
• Private Hot Tub: The fire is already set and ready to light when you arrive—just strike a match and sink into the warmth. We also provide one extra net of wood for your stay, this is located in the plastic storage box on the side of the pod.
• Outdoor Sauna & Natural Pool: Shared with a maximum of two other guests staying in the nearby shepherd's hut. Take a refreshing dip or unwind in the seated area while listening to the sounds of the forest.
• Badminton Fun: A net is set up and free for all guests to use. Spare rackets and shuttlecocks are stored in the plastic storage box by the pond—feel free to help yourself!
• Outdoor Dining: While there's no permanent BBQ on site, you're welcome to bring your own disposable
one to enjoy an alfresco meal under the trees - there is ample outdoor dining space by the natural pool.

Surroundings:

We encourage you to explore the local area, with paths leading to beautiful walks and opportunities to engage with the local nature and wildlife. You may spot a Deer or a running Hare if lucky.

The Marsh End Cottage Eco Centre is designed to ensure privacy and relaxation, making it a perfect getaway if you are looking to unwind in a natural setting while enjoying the comforts of modern amenities.

Important Notes:

-Due to the unique shape and design of the windows, there are no curtains or blinds in the Pyrapod ( though it is very private!)

- Security cameras are in place on-site, overlooking the wood garage and driveway to the cottage, for added safety and peace of mind.

- If you plan on using high-consumption electrical items (such as hairdryers or irons), kindly check with the host beforehand — due to the nature of the site’s electrical supply, certain appliances may cause the power to trip.

- The retreat is adults-only, designed to offer a quiet, restorative experience for couples and solo travellers

- Pet Policy: Dogs are very welcome at the retreat; however, they are not permitted in the natural pool to help us maintain its balance and cleanliness.
