A traditional farmhouse with direct access to the Limerick Greenway, it is an ideal location for cycling and walking, and as a touring base for Limerick, Kerry and the South of Ireland.

Centrally located for day trips to major attractions in the south-west, including Cliffs of Moher, Rock of Cashel, Killarney National Park and Blarney Castle are all within 90 minute driving distance.

The space
The main living space has a high vaulted ceiling, the original open hearth and flagstone floors have been retained.

There are 2 bedrooms.

Bedroom 1 has a standard double bed (135cm wide).

Bedroom 2 has two single beds (90cm wide each)

Guest access
Located midway between the towns of Newcastle West and Abbeyfeale in the village of Templeglantine, just off the N21. The house is a 10 minute (600m) walk from the Bus Eireann Expressway bus stop on the main road, with frequent daily services serving Kerry Airport, Limerick City, Shannon Airport.

There is space to park 2 cars on the premises.

Please note the house is strictly no-smoking / no vaping and we do not accept any pets.

Guests are advised that due to the age of the property (over 200 years old) the old flagstone floor is uneven in places - please mind your step and some doors are low - please mind your head.
The house was modernised in 2021 and has all modern conveniences.

I'm Rachel, delighted to welcome you to my traditional cottage which was renovated and modernised, with my sister and Co-Host Grainne, in the heart of West Limerick. It's ideal for anyone who loves cycling as it is located just a few steps from the Limerick Greenway, a scenic route that connects the historic towns of Rathkeale, Newcastle West, Abbeyfeale and on to Listowel. You can enjoy the beautiful countryside, the rich heritage and the local culture along the way.
