Unique, spacious, contemporary barn with unsurpassed views of Saddleworth and beyond. The barn is 1100ft up on the edge of Peak National Park with complete privacy, far enough away from it all yet within walking distance to two excellent local pubs! What's not to like? If you are looking for the perfect spot to unwind, with all mod cons, take long walks or bike rides with breathtaking views, this is the place for you. High spec space, well equipped with all the essentials. Ample parking.

The space
The Barn is a fantastic space which is split level and open plan and really has the wow factor. Exposed beams, gorgeous views through the large picture windows frame the landscape beautifully. There is constant hot water, mains gas for the hob, the oven is electric and water is supplied from our Bore Hole which is fully filtered and checked regularly. It tastes delicious! For all you budding musicians, there is a newly tuned upright piano and the acoustics are brilliant, no issues with disturbing the neighbours (there aren't any) other than the sheep!

Saddleworth is an area of 6 villages, Uppermill, Dobcross, Delph, Diggle, Greenfield and Denshaw. Dobcross is probably the prettiest.

Our closest village is Uppermill (about a mile away) which has a huge variety of cafes, wine bars, pubs, restaurants, delis and a tourist information centre at the museum. All of the villages in Saddleworth have something to offer!

There are loads of great walks and cycle tracks to explore.

The closest grocery shop is the Co-op in Uppermill and a bigger Tesco supermarket in Greenfield.

Despite it's seeming rural location we are just a 23 minute train ride to Manchester City centre from our local train station at Greenfield.
