We had such a relaxing time. Pete and Sally are wonderful. We sat and talked with them when we fist got there. They where wonderful hosts. The view is so relaxing looking over the pond. The apartment is very comfortable and cozy. They had everything we needed and the muffins, water and coffee were such a thoughtful touch. We loved our stay. Awesome Hosts:)

Sally and Pete's Cozy Pondside Apartment was just perfect for me. I lived there for six months while I was employed as a traveling teacher. The central location and easy access to major interstates could not have been better. It was also convenient to shopping, the gym, and recreation. The apartment contained everything I needed--internet, washer and dryer, full kitchen. Sally and Pete were helpful in every way possible! Living there was a totally positive experience.

My husband and I arrived at the apartment in the evening. We had some difficulty finding the house in the dark but Sally answered our texts promptly and then called us. We were delighted with the accommodations. Sally and Pete obviously have taken great care to make the apartment comfortable, clean, and very well-stocked. There were snacks, coffee, and tea in the kitchen and even some Christmas decorations. The weather was unpredictable and Sally provided ice brushes, and salt for the stairs. The apartment is in a very convenient location...easy to get to the places we visited: Hartford, Meriden, Wallingford, East Hampton, and New Haven. We also enjoyed looking at the pond across the street (lakes don't freeze where we live!) and listening to the geese. Thank you, Sally and Pete, for a lovely 10 days!

The host made us feel very welcome and the location was quiet but central to everything we needed. They even had a basket of fruit and candy for us in the kitchen when we arrived. Very comfortable accomodation. Owners were good people.

We had a lovely stay while visiting our daughter at a nearby college. Sally and Pete have gone the extra mile to make everything inside the apartment lovely and welcoming! They provided so many nice touches -- coffee, fruit, bottled water, lavender soap, wifi, well-stocked kitchen, local information, great mattress, and more. They are wonderful hosts -- super responsive and also respectful of your privacy. We were very happy to be there and it made a great base to explore the area. The location was a bit closer to the road/corner than I had anticipated, and the rooms (other than the bedroom which had great windows!) lacked a lot of exterior windows, but none of this got in the way of our great stay and they made up for it with all their attention to beauty and quality in the apartment.
