Located 10 minutes from the University of Delaware and tax-free Delaware shopping, 5 minutes from the breathtaking Fair Hill State Park and Milburn Orchards. The guesthouse is completely private, boasting a front deck and back deck surrounded by nature. The living room, bedroom, bathroom, and convenient kitchen are completely private. As a guest, you'll have the privilege of accessing the pool, which is exclusively reserved for you.

Neighbourhood highlights

The guesthouse is located on a quiet street in Elk Mills, Maryland, a small town which is close to both Elkton, MD and Newark, DE. While all the activities of those towns are easily accessible, the guesthouse itself feels very much like you're relaxing in the country - with birds, deer, foxes, groundhogs, and rabbits all making a regular appearance. The immediate area includes beautiful Fair Hill State park, a post office, and a wonderful Mexican restaurant - Casa Mezcal - just down the block.

One thing to note - there is a train in the neighborhood that runs nearby. The bedroom of the guesthouse faces away from that direction, so there should be minimal disturbance. My husband and I also live in the neighborhood, and it does not bother us. However, if you are a very light sleeper, that is something that you might want to consider.
