Other things to note
This region is an oasis with various treasures: wonderful views of untouched natural beauties, preserved traditions that you can taste in the form of marvelous recipes and basic organic local products, like wine, olive oil, boar, and a variety of local vegetables. Art is everywhere: Etruscan ruins, medieval churches and Renassaince castles. Jewels of culture, history and architecture, like Siena, San Gimignano, Volterra and Florence, are only 20-30 minutes by car. If you like wine tasting, you can visit the most renowned wine producers of the region. If you like horse riding, you can find plenty of opportunities in the surrounding. Every single restaurant is an experience for your senses. If you wish to visit other parts of Italy, the cottage is also a perfect starting point: 2 hours to the Tuscan Coast and the islands (Elba, Giglio, etc,), 3 hours to Rome, 2 hours to Assisi, 4 hours to Cinque Terre or Venice.
Dogs are welcome without any extra price. If there are children up to 2 years old we can provide a cradle without any extra price. We can also provide two extra beds for children up to 14 years old. In spring we plant some vegetables near the cottage that will be ready during the summer: our guests are welcome to water the plants and use the ripe fruits when available! Fine herbs like rosemary, sage, thyme and laurum can be used to give a local taste to your meals! We would like that our guests appreciate and take care of the villa as their home
