A brand new apartment with all new appliances that features underfloor heating, blackout blinds and 2 bathrooms (one is ensuite) that is centrally located in historical Chichester and a 5 minute walk from the rail station. Step out into Chichesters South Street with its bustling shops and restaurants and a short stroll to the magnificent Cathedral and roman walls. Perfect location if visiting the University, theatre or for one of the Goodwood events.
The space
The flat is on the 2nd floor (or 3rd floor if you are from the US) and situated towards the back of the building so you can open the windows and let the breeze flow without any street noise.
The flat was new in September 2021 and set up as a serviced apartment, so clean and clutter free so you will never feel like you are intruding in someone else's home/space.
We have tried to make sure that you can turn up and chill out whether you are using it as a base to see the sights, on a business trip and need to be able to work or visiting friends or family at the university or hospital.
Everything is brand new. The TV is a smart TV and we have provided an adult and child pin for Netflix so your kids won't get bored or if you want to relax after a day out. You will be able to use your own BBC, ITV, Prime, Apple or Disney accounts to log in to watch if needed.
Each room has underfloor heating so you can keep the bedrooms cool and the living room nice and snug. We have provided blackout blinds in the bedrooms so there should be no problem sleeping.
Guest access
We are a short 5 minutes walk from Chichester train station so you can easily come down from london and walk to the flat without any need for a taxi. The Stagecoach terminal is also within 5 minutes.
If you are driving there is public paid parking literally 10 metres from the rear entrance or for longer stays, the multistory carpark is a couple of minutes walk away which is currently £6 a day and free from 6pm to 8am.
There are two entrances, one at the front of the building that leads to South Street for all the restaurants and shops and another at the back that leads to the car parks and the Chichester University. On arrival, we will only be providing access codes to the back of the building so whilst you can exit from both entrances, you will need to enter through the main entrance at the back.
There is an elevator but there are 4 extra steps at the very end. So this may impact someone with mobility issues.
Other things to note
check out is 11am and check in is 3pm but please do get in touch if you want to check in sooner as if we do not have any other occupants before you we should be able to let you get in earlier.
We take security very seriously so you will always have a unique apartment door code and cctv cameras are located at entrance points and in communal hallways but not in the apartment itself.
