This stylish self-contained apartment sits directly on the seafront in St Leonards on Sea occupying the basement of a Grade II listed former shop.

Cozy bedroom with double bed, kitchenette with essentials, living room with smart tv and DVD player (DVDs available) and sofa bed for up to 2 extra guests for additional £10 per person per night. Shower room down a step.

Private entrance via iron staircase, key safe for easy access.

The space
The apartment is accessed from the front of the house, down an iron staircase to its own front door which opens directly into a lounge with a 55 inch smart tv, tv unit with DVD player, three seater sofa (which converts to a sofa bed) and a ‘cuddle sofa’ with footstool. This room contains two built in wardrobes and a further cupboard containing a good selection of DVDs for your enjoyment as well as a selection of board games. The windows are covered by shutters and contain black out blinds. The comfortable sofa bed can accommodate up to two extra people at a cost of £10 per person per night.

A door off this room leads to a characterful well-equipped kitchenette (mind the step down) containing a fridge with ice-box, a 2 ring induction hob and a microwave oven with grill. The kitchen is in a cellar and has no heating. The limestone walls have naturally occurring efflorescence (salt crystals) this isn’t hazardous and adds to the charm.

The cozy bedroom at the back of the apartment has a double bed, seating area and leads out to a private courtyard. A selection of reference books are available for you to browse at leisure.

The small but perfectly formed shower room/WC is accessed from the hallway with a step down. Please mind the step on entering this room.
