Beautiful spot in Gibson’s, close to the town but also very secluded and quiet. The hot tub is fantastic and the studio well equipped. Will come and stay again.

Everything was in walking distance and, the hottub was perfect for the chilly weekend. The large windows were great! So many eclectic touches from local artists in the home that really added to the Gibsons feel.

Response from Diane:
Thank you for that I am planning on replacing with a king bed and a general facelift in the next couple of months, also the roof top deck just needs a railing. Hope to see you again

This was our second time staying at Diane’s place. Outstanding as usual. Feels like our home away from home.

Diane was a wonderful host. She was very accommodating and responded quickly. Her place is absolutely charming, a beautiful interior full of her own artwork! The bed is comfortable, and relaxing in the hot tub at night was a special treat. The raisin bread she left us made delicious today for our morning breakfast. There's even even some art supplies and a game of scrabble (with official scrabble dictionary) which we enjoyed. Diane's place is very close to a little beach and Gibsons public market where we bought some tasty food. The centre of Gibsons is a 7 min walk away. A hike up Soames hill is a couple minutes by bus (recommended for the views), and there is wildlife everywhere. We saw deer in Diane's garden, seals and herons from the beach, and otters seastars and orcas from the pier. It was truly a magical place to stay!

My wife and I enjoyed ourselves more than we thought was possible after having an almost 2 year old at home, We were able to slip away alone to this little hidden oasis. We didn't have the best of weather but we made up fof it by driving around window shopping houses to buy. The ducks will definitely miss my wife. Thank you again for such a wonderful time away for our anniversary. We will be back.
