This page is dedicated to booking just one of our three bedrooms: Le Vieux Chalet, situated on the second floor, has a comfortable super-king bed and an en suite bathroom, with deep bath and bidet and a walk-in wardrobe. The westerly views from this bedroom look up the mountain behind the village.

The space

Our one of a kind eco-chalet is run as a catered chalet over the ski season with delicious, organic home cooking. During the rest of the year we offer a relaxing B&B retreat with the same high standard of personal service.

We are offering a choice of three B&B bedrooms during spring, summer and autumn, each with a different atmosphere. To book an additional room OR the exclusive use of all three rooms please investigate our other pages for full description of each room.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to get in touch with us and we hope to see you soon!

Guest access

We built Chalet Châtelet ecologically with natural building materials and insulation and with solar panels creating hot water and electricity. Our Tulikivi log burner radiates heat 24/7 during winter months and is situated at the heart of the chalet. The acre of chalet grounds is surrounded by agricultural land and there is a children’s playground close by.

• Sitting room, facilities for making hot drinks, fridge
• Balcony with views of the village
• State of the art home cinema and Sky+, DVDs, games
• Broadband Wi-Fi
• Infrared sauna with jet shower for 2 people
• Outdoor hot tub and table football
• Large garden

Interaction with guests

We can assist you with our local knowledge and contacts; point you in the right direction for fabulous walks, markets, historical buildings and gardens. In the winter we can recommend the best ski instructors, ski equipment rental and help you organize ski passes. In the summer, we can direct you to great activities such as mountain biking, white water rafting, paragliding, horse-riding, hiking, and the four thermal spas two in the mountains and two by Lake Geneva, just 20km from the chalet.

Other things to note

We cook with fresh, local and organic ingredients and home produce whenever possible. Breakfast includes: home made granola and jams, croissants, bread, fresh fruit salad, cheeses and cold meats, fresh coffee and a range of teas. A delicious three-course evening meal can be preordered, including specially selected wine, for €35 per adult (vegetarian and special diet options available). Children’s early suppers provided.

Simply put, Suzie & Pascal are people you'll truly enjoy meeting. Their vitality/enthusiasm is contagious and their knowledge of the local area seems pretty comprehensive. If you are planning on being anywhere near Lake Geneva / French Alps I would HIGHLY recommend staying with them. You'll love the valley, you'll love the mountains, you'll love the chalet, and you'll love your hosts.

We had a great stay at the Chalet during our ski trip. The room was quiet, cozy, and very clean. Breakfasts were delicious and exactly what we needed before a long day of skiing - meats, cheese, granola, yogurt, bread, etc. The hot tub was a great addition to our stay, as was our 3-course home made dinner of lamb tangine and delicious wine. Our hosts were very knowledgable about the area and offered great advice about what to do, where to go, and the best places to ski.
