*Families and Groups*
Entirely private, 3 bedroom, 1 bath. 3 queen beds, 2 twin beds, 1 sofa-bed. Stocked kitchen, walk 10 mins to the metro & ride 7 mins to NYC. Third floor walkup. Street parking Fri 4pm- Mon 10am. Prices Vary.
Private and entire apartment is on the 3rd floor of a 2 family walkup in a 200 year old mixed use dwelling. There are many wonderful upgrades that mix darling old world charm with contemporary features. Window air conditioners are installed in each bedroom. This is an urban NYC style apartment and not a fancy hotel or a new construction type of environment. If you are looking for a palace experience, please continue looking for a closer fit.
The apartment is a cozy, clean, and safe home away from home in mixed community. It is a stone's throw from NYC in a vibrant neighborhood with terrific restaurants. There are restaurants and pubs on the block, a yoga studio and a Barre studio. It is a good solution for groups looking for peace and quiet after being out all day. Hosting more than 7 would be crowded but can host up to 10.
There are two bedrooms. Bedroom #1 has 2 queen beds. Bedroom #2 has 2 single sized beds. Bedroom #3 has a queen sized bed and shares the common TV space where there is a sofa that folds into a king sized sofa bed. The kitchen area is small and can seat 4 or 5 at the most. The only bathroom is on the small side.
The apartment is designed for light meals or packing lunch to go out. The dining table is expandable to fit a maximum of six and then it becomes tight to walk around the table.
I host remotely and a lockbox allows guests to freely check themselves in after 4pm and out before 9am.
Wifi, Internet, flat Screen TV's with 30 channels, heat, hot water, electricity, window unit air conditioning, stocked kitchen, and street parking.
Interaction with guests
I host remotely. There is a lockbox outside for guests to freely check themselves in after 3pm and out before 11am. I respond quickly to txt, calls, and emails. Please freely ask questions and let me know what recommendations are needed.
Other things to note
Let us know if your group plans to arrive after the 4pm check in time or earlier than the 9am checkout time.
You are arriving to VILLAGE CENTER -3BR located very near 413 Monmouth Street, 07302 (near, not actual address) between 3rd and 4th street in Jersey City. Checkin time is after 4pm. The apartment is in an historic walkup.
This is ideal for peace and comfort after being out all day. Neighbors insist on quiet. Please consider that noise and parties are not tolerated when booking. I want your needs to fit well.
The lockbox is attached to the black iron gate. Familiarize yourself with the online photos to facilitate an easier checkin especially at night.
How to use the lockbox:
Please have a look around and let us know that everything is in good working order, otherwise, it is assumed all is well and good and a glowing review is expected:)
You might wish to get rid of trash in the event that it builds up. Deliver trash to the tree on Monday or Wednesday between 7-10pm. Discard recycling Wednesday only (do not mix trash and recycling together). It is a violation to add your trash to the neighbors pile and to deliver before 7pm or after 10pm. Please take note, the violations require court appearance and security cameras are active. Return uncollected to the hallway.

I like to provide a welcoming environment to travelers from abroad and within. In addition to standards of clean bedding, towels, and bathroom essentials, there is an underlying theme dedicated to our global environment. There are original artworks about the environment by local artisans, an eclectic interior design, and eco friendly cleaning, recycling, and energy practices.
