This modern 2 bedroom townhouse is in the heart of Brunswick, only a few kilometres from the centre of the city. Main bedroom has a queen size bed, and the second bedroom has a double futon bed. There is also a blow up queen bed available. Dog friendly!
This is a 2 storey, 2 bedroom townhouse right in the heart of Brunswick. The house is on the corner of a dead end street, so it is very quiet. However, you only need to walk a couple of blocks to find all the action of Sydney Road and everything it offers, including cafes, bars, restaurants and shops. The Sydney Rd tram is less than 300 metres away and the Brunswick train station is 500 metres away.
The house has an open living, kitchen, dining plus second toilet downstairs and two bedrooms with a bathroom upstairs. There is also a small courtyard.
The house has full oven and stove, microwave, fridge (no dishwasher). There is a TV (no remote - sorry my dog chewed it up), and wireless internet access. There is a front loading washing machine (no dryer, but there is a clothes line). There are panel heaters through the house and an air conditioner in the main bedroom (I also have stand fans for the other rooms).
Other things to note
I own a labrador who is very energetic so there is some signs of wear and tear around the house. She has chewed some of the bottom of the couch and she has chewed up so many remotes I don't bother having one anymore. The courtyard doesn't have many plants in it as she eats most of them, but it does have a nice patch of fake lawn so it is not too bad to sit in.
This is a strictly NON-smoking house.
As the house is a townhouse I share walls with 2 other houses. I ask that guests do not play loud music and are mindful of how much noise they make when they are outside the house, for example, when they are in the courtyard or coming home late at night.
Pets are allowed inside, but only downstairs. I try to keep dog hair out of the bedrooms!
I grew up in Melbourne and I love living in Brunswick! I love the cafes, restaurants, bars, people, parks, everything. I love that I live on a quiet little dead end street, but all I need to do is turn the corner and there will be something going on. It's a great place to live and a great place to stay!
