Tor Pignattara you can reach it with the Rome-Giardinetti line which is already a world unto itself. Slowly, from the center to the eastern suburbs, on a metropolitan train where the stations are platforms and small barriers that divide the sidewalks from traffic. The echo of the neighborhood in the common imagination stands out in a wide territory of cinema, writing, history that goes from the famous lines of Pasolini in the Roman novels of the Friulian writer, to the notes in the news that often tell the darkest and most discussed aspects of the Neighborhood.

But "TorPigna" is an area that has no equal anywhere else in the city. Border district between the suburbs and the most gentrified areas, social housing and condominiums, the urban skyline embattled by the Alexandrian aqueduct and its proverbial reddish color that becomes more intense at sunset in winter when the sky is streaked with pink clouds and the cold makes it sharper.
