Welcome to your Family Home away from Home. We have traveled a lot with kids and know how hard it is to be comfortable on vacation with children along for the ride. We have worked hard to make this an ideal place for you to spend time with the whole gang. This house has many child friendly features including; a mini crib and pack and play, high chair, closet full of toys and games, in ground trampoline and playhouse in the fully fenced backyard, children’s dishes, and pbs kids on both smart tvs.

The space
This home has 3 bedrooms available on the main level and 2 in the basement. The master has a purple 4 mattress to help you sleep in comfort.

There is a living room with smart tv on both levels. The basement living room has a door so you can section off noise if desired from the rest of the home. The upstairs living room features a beautiful bookshelf and comfortable power sofa. Enjoy a good book while watching the snow fall outside the large bay window.

The kitchen is spacious and fully stocked with cooking tools and dishes. There is enough seating in the dining room for 9 to eat at the same time.

Features to keep your children safe include an attached child gate at the top of the stairs and second gate to use other places in the house. The back yard is fully fenced and has lots of play features to keep kiddos entertained. We also have board games and toys inside to play with on colder days.

The backyard has a covered patio with color changing lights and a bbq. There is a fire pit, in ground trampoline, and children’s play house.

Guest access
You have access to the whole private home and yard excluding the garage and a locked storage room and a few locked closets.

Other things to note
We have a wonderful neighbor and family members who will be taking care of yard work and snow removal for you. So you may see them in the yard or front drive making sure the home is taken care of.

Neighbourhood highlights

We are directly across the street from an elementary school that has a wonderful playground and a football field and track. During the football season there are games that go on across the street.

We are just up the road from grocery shopping at Broulims, but recommend doing a Walmart pickup in Rexburg or Idaho falls or shopping at winco in Idaho falls if you want the best deals.

We are 15 minutes from BYU-I and 20-30 minutes from anything in Idaho Falls.

The home is a great place for a basecamp as you explore all that south east Idaho has to offer.
We are within 1.5 hours of the West Yellowstone entrance to Yellowstone National park, 2 hours from Grand Teton National Park, 30 minutes from skiing at Kelly Kanyon which is also a great area to mountain bike and hike in the summer. Craters of the moon is 1.5 hours away, and the sand dunes and civil defense caves are 40 minutes away. There are too many fun things to talk about in our area.
