Interaction with guests
I'll try to make you feel at home if I am and if I'm not well you and other guests may just have the whole house to yourselves.
The neighborhood is quaint and pedestrian friendly. Just a block away there's the Red Door Pub that has wine, music and food. A few blocks further, on Frank Loyd Wright Way there's a larger venue Patio 850. Both have indoor and outdoor seating. A short walk or bike ride away is downtown and Lake Mirror with Cattleman' Steak and Harry's Cajun. Many more local restaurants, bars and coffee houses are on Kentucky Avenue around the Munn Park square.
The City is very bicycle friendly there are Lake to Lake bike ways.
Other things to note
Oh and Lakeland has a fantastic mountain bike park. (our mtns aren't very high but then Colorado doesn't have alligators in the valleys) I can take you or just loan you my two spare bikes.
You can cook in the kitchen and make yourself at home. I'll provide you with yogurt, cereal, oatmeal, fruit, eggs, coffee so you can fix yourself what you want for breakfast. You can bring your doggie too if he's a good boy. You can smoke on the porch. Lights out by 11:30 pm please.

I am a liberty loving (isn't airbnb great? i love it), urban farmer/gardener in beautiful downtown Lakeland, FL, a Florida Mountain/Roadie Biker, a sometimes runner, a musician and a widget counter for a large construction company. I love the downtown Lakeland Lake Morton area and just had to buy this 1925 Historic Home. 11' ceilings, hardwood floors, an extra lot for vegetables I couldn't let it go. I 've had so much fun finding all of the antique furnishings. I'm so very grateful to be here, to meet all of my guests. Serenity happens !
