Classic Danish apartment placed 350 m. from Amalienborg (home of the Queen)

in a nice quite area of central Copenhagen. It's . Nyhavn, the palace and kongens nytorv.

The space

The place is very private and quired even though it is in the middle of the city.

Other things to note

The apartment is on the 5th floor and there is no elevator. Good old fashion walking is required.

Here is my review of this place (just so you know, my case was reviewed by Airbnb and they decided to give me a full refund. Please read below to see what happened). I informed host that my travel plans changed and she said promptly that i cannot enter the house anymore due to her being on vacation etc. Let me make it CRYSTAL CLEAR that the reason i chose this place was that it said "check-in flexible". It's not flexible. After informing host that i arrive later same day due to transportation issues she said she rejects my arrival date and won't host me. This is after i paid in full. Then she started telling me how i should have chosen a hotel, how i am guilty for my bad choice, how i want people to suffer, all kinds of bizarre sentences - all just for avoiding what the Airbnb Rules and Terms of Use say - if a host cancels, you as a traveller are entitled to the full refund. What she does since she is experienced with such cases - she informs by messaging you that your change of arrival is not tolerable, then she basically doesn't push the cancel button to refund you, but instead talks you into canceling yourself, since part of the money is kept by the host for literally zero service if you do the cancelling yourself. You be the judge of whether this behaviour is fine or wrong. Choose wisely. But know these things: 1) As a traveller, you have rights too - in this particular case, I was refunded by Airbnb in full, as I said at the beginning of this review. 2) Many hosts are experienced into effectively tricking the system.

Devika's apartment is really nice and incredibly convenient for walking to anywhere in central Copenhagen. Devika was very responsive and it was easy to arrange logistics for arrival and departure. I would highly recommend this flat. Thanks Devika!

We had a great time in Copenhagen and Devika's apartment was as good as advertised. The location was great- the neighborhood was quiet but close to everything. Devika was also very helpful in her suggestions and waited for us as we were delayed due to our luggage being lost. We were thankful to have found such a good apartment while staying in Copenhagen.

It was great - the host was flexible and helpful in my requests as timing was quite complicated.

Former social worker, now a student of Anthropology at University of Copenhagen. I've done quite a lot of travelling myself - actually seen all seven continents ;-) I'm from Aarhus (the 2nd largest town in DK), but moved to Copenhagen in 2011.

The apartment is my boyfriends, who's employed by a shipping company and is therefore travelling a lot. We've made the profile in my name, since I'll be the one who you'll be communicating with and the one welcoming you :-)

Looking forward meeting you!
