Finding a calm place in a medina is not always easy, but it was the case here. Here we felt very easy and independent. Our host (Latifa) was kind enough to give us a quick tour up to the main square. Jean-Patrice, who was not there those days, answered all our messages very quickly.

What a lovely nicely and comphy decorated place! Felt very at home with caring Latifa who cooked lovely meals and was very helpful. One day after being back home and at work again we already miss her. Great location. Excellent communication with Jean Patrick who was not around at the moment. If ever possible we will be back!

Beautiful riad in a good location in the medina. Jean-Patrice was incredibly helpful in replying to my questions quickly and in great detail. Excellent place to stay in Meknes.

The room was very nice, the bathroom was also very nice with a wonderful hot shower. The housekeeper lady was very friendly, she agreed to cook a very good tajin together with my girlfriend. Although she speaks only French they managed to understand each other with a few words and signs. We think that for the price it would be nice to have breakfast included. All in all it was a good stay!!

Response from Jean-Patrice:
Dear Felix, Thank you very much for your nice comment, it was also a pleasure for us to host you ! We just would like to rectify something, when you say that “for the price it would be nice to have breakfast included” : in our category, we are the cheapest in Meknes, and usually, other Riads propose breakfast for extra price. We do in a different way : we propose breakfast for “open price” (guests pay the price they want, between 0€ and 7€ per person, according to their means).

The experience in this riad was amazing. The room was perfect (best shower ever!) and Latifa was kind and helpful to us, even though we don't speak French or Arabic. The breakfast was delicious, very local and sharing great time with other guests.

Jean-Patrice's is a beautiful place executed with style. Every little corner is a little nook to relax. The rooftop terrace is brilliant at sunset. His mother in law, Latifa (who is the kindest lady), welcomed me and brought me from the meet up spot to his place. It's located on the edge of the medina, inside the walls, so it's easy to head deeper into it to shop and explore as well as exit to grab a taxi to wherever you wish to go for the day. I stayed one night and if I had more time would have stayed longer. Highly recommended.

Nous avons passé une nuit très agréable chez Jean Patrice. Très bien accueillis par Latifa, on a profité de ses conseils de visite et de son délicieux tajine. On recommande sans hésitation.
