Located in a very Private, peaceful area with the forest behind the house for long walks, and views of the Commeragh mountains from the accommodation and Sliabh na mban just over the hill. We are just 10 minutes from the N76 and 20 minutes from the Waterford/Dublin motorway, exit 10 at kocktopher.
The space
The space comprises of a spacious living area with its own private entrance and lovely views of the Comeragh mountains, a double bedroom with built in wardrobe and kingsize bed, and a spacious bathroom with double shower, it has its own private decking space and guests are free to use the large garden area only, if you don’t mind my dogs roaming around! There are two steps at the entrance to the patio area.
I am living next door to the Airbnb and my daughter lives on the other side. These areas of the home are not shared but we are here to help with any questions you may have during your stay. Always feel free to send a message :)

We are 10 minutes from Carrick-on-Suir, where the Blue way is located, a cycle/walking path by the river Suir from Carrick to Clonmel. The beautiful Ormonde Castle is located in Carrick-on-Suir, well worth a visit. There is a pub in our local village, Faugheen, 5 minutes from the house, They have trad sessions on Wednesday nights. There is a lovely restaurant Kilkieran Cottage 10 mins from here, serving delicious evening meals and Sunday Lunch. You will need a car to stay here, there is plenty parking on the premises. We are a half hour from Kilkenny, Waterford, Clonmel and 45 minutes from Cahir, Cashel and Dungarvan. There are the Ahenny High Crosses in our area and we have a Winter Solstice 10 minutes from the house. We are remote but within 10 minutes of the Kilkenny - Clonmel N76 and 20 minutes from the M9 Dublin to Waterford motorway, exit 10 Knoctopher.
It is a very peaceful area with lots of places to walk and take photos, I am a photographer. I have a photographic experience for the Winter Solstice in Knockroe Passage tomb on. 21st of December, 10 mins from my home. . I also give photographic tours of the Linguan Valley which my home is in the middle of. Inquire when booking.
The ‘All together now’ festival is approx 20 mins away and a taxi can be arranged to take you there and back.

Guests don’t have access to the decking area besides the attached balcony connected to the Airbnb’s front door.
Other things to note
I also have a stable and paddock where our horse and donkey, Bie and Jack stay. Guests are welcome to visit them accompanied by me, they are very friendly boys.
I have four dogs and five cats living at my home too who are all very friendly and sociable.
