About this listing
The cottage situated in the Fisherman's Quarter, in a quiet street but still in the centre - has a kitchen, bathroom with demi-bain / hand shower, a pretty double bedroom and a small bedroom for one or two small children. A cosy living room / TV.
This Fisherman's Cottage (built in 1900) is 30 seconds from the Baie de Somme and less than a minute to various cafes, bars and restaurants, and Sunday Market, which is at the bottom of the road.
Flat screen, radio, CD, gas cooker, brand new heating throughout, washing machine, a demi-bath with a hand shower, Gaz BBQ, al fresco eating in the tiny courtyard.
Our efficient and delightful housekeeper, Caroline Watrigant lives 3 houses away.
The neighbourhood is great. You can eat haute cuisine or cafe style. You can walk across the Baie to Le Crotoy, or you can take the little steam train. It's not far to the WW1 path either.
There is a large, free, safe car park at the top of the road.
The Somme Battlefields Tourist trail starts within a few miles. Joan of Arc was imprisoned in St Valery and William the Conqueror set off to Hastings from St Valery. Check out the St V website as there are always great festivals and live music, theatre and more to see.
TV, outdoor table, chairs and sun parasol in the courtyard. Free and safe parking at the top of the hill.

Other things to note
I wish I was there!
My beloved cottage was incredibly difficult for me to keep when I moved away to NY. I renovated it by going back and forth from the USA over a couple of years. Please treat it and all the lovely neighbours with respect. Oh and please don't smoke indoors.

A Brit living in New York for the past 14 years, I couldn't bear to give up my little French cottage when I moved here to Long Island, NY. So I kept it and you can stay in it!!
