Tucked away in Sandy Bay, this snug, fully self-contained studio is just 2.5kms from the city’s CBD and famous Salamanca Market. It's the perfect base for visiting Hobart. Dine alfresco in the leafy private courtyard, or choose from many fine dining and café options just short walks away. Snuggle up in the king-size bed with a Netflix movie. In the morning, walk a beautiful beach located just minutes away. The all hours self check-in takes the stress out of arriving late.

The space
Located on a quiet historic side street, the studio sits amid many quaint cottages and large federation era homes. Free on-street parking puts you out front of your private entrance.

Downstairs is the dining/living/kitchen area, fully equipped with a convection microwave, induction cook-top, fridge, cookware, toaster, crockery and glasses. Opening from the living room is the courtyard, the perfect spot for intimate dining, cocktails or even working at the remote office.

Upstairs the bedroom features a seating nook, king-sized bed, 43" tv with Netflix, and a separate indoor workspace.

A modern bathroom is equipped with a heater, heated towel rail and hair dryer. Indoor climate control maintains warmth in winter and coolness in summer, and high speed internet will keep you connected.

Sandy Bay lies just south of Hobart CBD and adjoins historic Battery Point. 'The Bay', as it is known, has evolved into an exclusive beach-side suburb stretching along the beautiful Derwent Estuary. Located on a quiet side street, the studio sits amid many quaint cottages and large federation era homes and close to fine parks and gardens.

The local Sandy Bay shops boast some great places to eat only a short walk away. Recommendations include 'Me Wah' Chinese restaurant for an award winning fine dining experience, 'Solo Pasta and Pizza' for Italian cuisine or 'Burger Got Soul' for a great burger and chips.

The Wrest Point Casino, Australia's first legal casino is also nearby as is the University of Tasmania, attracting academics, research staff and students to the area.
