This elegant apartment is perfectly seated a few blocks from the French Quarter and a few blocks from Frenchman Street. The Marigny is a neighborhood known for being a hot bed of local art, lovely eateries and some of the best music New Orleans has to offer.

The space

Stay in our historic home full of New Orleans character and recently renovated with all of the elegant trimmings that can only be found in this great city. We have always loved the individuality of the homes in New Orleans. The color, style and interior courtyards allow you all of the creature comforts with the spirit of a turn of the century Chateau.

The sleeping layout is 2 single fold down couch beds in the living room and a queen bed in the back bedroom. We have designed the property so that you enter the grounds though our lush interior courtyard. The front door to your apartment will be french double doors leading into warm living room that can be converted easily into lovely bedroom. Then down the hallway you find an elegantly renovated bathroom, then a kitchen styles from the French countryside and we capped the space with a large luxurious bedroom dawning a queen bed as the focal point of the room.

This layout is perfect for a romantic stay for two or a group of 4. The Art Deco furniture, two plush velvet conversion couches in the living room and the queen bed in the back bedroom make this space very comfortably. Conveniently, the bathroom is in the middle of the unit and completely redone in vintage chic. The kitchen has been outfitted with all of the amenities to ensure you never want to leave.

At the Chateau D' Marigny Triangle you are walking distance to Frenchmen Street and all of the attractions of the French Quarter. On-street parking is available and our gated interior courtyard provides a private space to sip wine while relaxing at the end of a long day of music, dining and dancing.

The Courtyard is shared with another unit built in 1845 that we own. Both units can be rented for groups of 8 - 10.

Guests will have access to our washer and dryer in the unit, free wifi and street parking is available.

The Street Car is within walking distance as well as buses if you are going Up Town, however there is so much music and food within a 10 block radius that you may be content to just wander close by.

Guest access

Guests will have access to our interior courtyard, a lovely and relaxing New Orleans apartment with all of the amazing music and culture right outside your door.

I enjoyed staying here a lot! It was close to a lot of the places I like to go but far enough away from the noise. The courtyard was my favorite part, it was so beautiful. I loved all the succulents and the fountain. I also felt really safe since there were two locked gates to get into the unit. Jeremy is actually the first Airbnb host that I personally met and he was very kind. I'll keep this place in mind for future visits!

Jeremy's courtyard place is the perfect place to be *near* all of the action, but not *in* it. My husband and I were able to walk everywhere we needed and felt safe walking together at night. The neighborhood has lots of great nearby restaurants and music venues, but is far away enough that you can sleep in peace and comfort. We would happily stay here again if back in New Orleans.

Excellent location; Jeremy’s apartment was a short walk from the buzz and excitement of Frenchman and Bourbon Street whilst still being quiet enough to allow for a good nights sleep. We were warned New Orleans can be dangerous, however we felt comfortable in this neighbourhood. The security at the apartment was also sufficient so that we felt very safe in the apartment. The apartment was nicely furnished and Jeremy was very accommodating. I would recommend this apartment.

The apartment is gorgeous and so very comfortable! It is a handful of blocks from Frenchman street, making is very convenient. You can also easily walk to the french quarter. Jeremy was very friendly and gave us so many recommendations for our weekend activities. All the beds are very comfortable, including the couches!

We came for Frenchmen street and the quarter. A mom with a 14 year old boy. We wanted lots of exposure to the music and food. My initial thought was to split our time b/w the quarter and the garden district / uptown, which I'm more familiar with and with a kid in tow I thought the nightlife might be a bit much after a day or two. That said - getting around was so easy; we were in foot and we spent all but two days in Jeremy's neighborhood. When the nightlife started to wear on us, it was easy to pop in and out for a break. It's quiet, people are friendly and we could spend the day in the quarter come back for an afternoon siesta and then head out to Frenchmen or back to the quarter for the night without paying for transportation. Jeremy is very responsive and helpful- we were cool with the 3:00 check in despite our red-eye. However the humidity and heat and exhaustion quickly caught up with us around noon, and since the place was clear - Jeremy let us check-in early, which we were really grateful for.

Historic neighborhood, classic NOLA architecture, quiet yet within minutes to fun and frivolity. We loved staying here, using the charming apartment as a homebase for exploring the city and beyond.

Jeremy's place is in an amazing neighborhood! Very walk-able to the French Quarter but removed enough so it's peaceful and quiet. The interior is beautiful and magical and the epitome of New Orleans vintage style. I needed to modify the dates of my stay and Jeremy was very understanding and accommodating. His communication was great too and checking in and out was a breeze. I would LOVE to stay here again if I find myself back in New Orleans!

My wife and I are two young professionals who love our city and are happy to share it with fellow travelers. Participating in AirBandB helps us restore our 100 year old home and share its history with others.

When we decided to add our guest houses to Airbnb we wanted to make sure that they represented what we love about old romantic/mischievous New Orleans. The exposed brick, vibrant colors and architecture are some of these aspects. Sitting in the courtyard at night you can even sometimes faintly hear the brass bands playing songs on Frenchmen St. that have been passed down through generations. We love our city and we hope you will too.
