Great location

Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space, known as The Maple Lakehouse. Only 2 kms from the village of Brookfield, this lakefront property is nestled amongst a cluster of beautiful maple trees. Wake up to the sun rising on the lake, which can be seen through the giant picture window in the bedroom. Snuggle up with a blanket around the outdoor fire pit or the indoor wood stove on those chilly nights. Unplug and unwind at this serene lakefront retreat.

The space
This cozy cottage is one of my favourite places and I’m honoured to be able to share it with guests. Please keep in mind that I stay here often, so there is food in the fridge and the occasional personal effect around the space. During your stay, you’re welcome to everything that is here, food included. All I ask is that you are respectful of my belongings and if you use an entire carton of milk, you replace it. Coffee is complimentary!

For the past few years, I've only used Airbnb when I travel. I love the local connection I get from the hosts and seeing communities that I wouldn't have experienced had I stayed in a big hotel. I like to fly by the seat of my pants when I travel, rarely making any concrete plans other than flights and accommodations. My husband and I live on the east coast of Canada with our cat and dog, which makes it easy to pick up and leave on our next adventure.
