The space

Apartment Sofija is on the fifth floor of an apartment building with elevator located in nice and peaceful part of Split, Sukoisan. The Apartment is located only 10 minutes walking distance from old town and famous ancient Diocletian's Palace.

The apartment is newly renovated with one bedroom (one single bed, size 90x200 and one double bed, size 120x200) and living room (pull out sofa, size 160x200). The fully equipped kitchen is separated from the living room and exits to a small balcony. Bathroom has bathtub and washing machine and you can use also hair drier.
The apartment is equipped with air-condition, cable TV and wireless internet (free of charge).

You will find small grocery shops just behind corner.
Next to Diocletian's Palace there are shops, bars, restaurants and the local Bazaar (Pazar) which offers daily fresh fruits and vegetables.
Don't miss Fish market - Peskarija as we call it - interesting place to see, smell and taste tradition!

For those who like nature, long walks, jogging, bike rides, swimming or resting under peak trees, Marjan Forest Park is 15 minutes far from my place.
If you have a plan to visit beautiful small places around Split (Kastela, Trogir, Omis), bus terminal with all major buses is just 2 minutes walk from the apartment.
I can also recommend you to visit some of islands like Brac, Hvar or Solta (ferry port - 15 minutes walk) or rafting adventure on Cetina river. You can go hiking on the nearby mountains or visit Krka waterfalls or Plitvice lakes!

All attractions you wish to explore can easily be reached and after all excitements that Split offers, you can have nice and quite nights.

House Rules By Sofija

This is a very old home that needs a lot of love and respect.
Treat it like you would your grandmother. Or better.

1.Have fun… Just don’t hurt anyone.
2.Respect our neighbors… Be quite when coming and leaving the flat.
3.Don’t borrow books… Unless you’re returning them personally next year.
4.Don’t play (with) piano… Unless you’re Elton John.
5.If you turn it on… Turn it off.
6.Keep smiling… People will wonder what you’re up to.
7.And if it’s Saturday… Don’t forget to call your mum tomorrow. It’s Sunday.

Sofija's place is very spacious and clean. It's a lovely flat, which is about a 15 minute walk to the old town. There are shops and cafes nearby, which is very convenient. Communication was clear, and although we didn't meet in person, Sofija made it very easy for us to check in and out, even arranging for someone to meet us at the flat on the first day. I would definitely recommend this flat if you plan to holiday in Split!

We had a really great stay in Split! At first the apartment seemed a but far out, but it's actually pretty well located once you start to find your way round. The place was as described... Has everything you need. Just be careful with the shutters! We never actually met Sofija, but she was very helpful and communicative. We'd gladly stay there again!

Had a lovely stay here, Sofija was a very helpful host. Good location - 15min walk to centre and right next to the local bus station (perfect for getting from the airport, catch the no.37, takes about 40mins). Flat is nice - clean, towels provided. Would stay here again.

The apartment is a short walk from the old town and easy to find. The apartment was clean and the air conditioning was great as it was very hot. Sofija was very helpful before we arrived sending a map and directions to find the apartment. She was also in contact during our stay to check that everything was ok and if we needed anything. Great apartment for the price.

Staying at Sofija's was a great experience! It's a clean and spacious apartment that had everything we needed! Washing machine, iron, wifi, tv, kitchen and hot water all working perfectly! Sofija was always available if we needed anything! We would have stayed longer if had the time! Thank you Sofija!

We loved everything about staying in Sofija's flat. The moment we arrived we were treated like old friends even though we were over 2 hours late! The flat is beautiful, with gorgeous mid-century furniture and ornaments. It is perfectly situated less than a 10 minute walk from the old town, with a great cafe and supermarket within a minute's walk. The flat is very easy to drive to and park near; we stayed here with our toddler and everything felt easy. We'd definitely stay here again and would thoroughly recommend it. Sofija is a warm and generous host!
