This is a bright new cottage with all modern appliances. The queen size bed folds into the wall giving more space in the dining/sitting area.There is private parking off the south facing patio. Strict non-smoking property in a quiet residential area.
This brand new cottage is private and sunny with easy access to all parts of Vancouver including the University of BC, the huge Spirit Park tracks and trails as well as the miles of beaches along the north shore of Point Grey. There is convenient shopping nearby and the public bus service is 1 1/2 blocks away. Pharmacy, post office, dry cleaners and restaurants are within a 5 minute walk.
The sunny patio is behind high fences and is very private with a country table and benches for dining al fresco. The parking area off the patio is partially shielded from the sitting area by planters. While there is one step up from the patio to the inside floor it is reasonably convenient for wheel chairs if guests have some mobility.
Interaction with guests
Guests are assured their privacy but we will offer any advice and the cottage has a book of hints and suggestions for enjoying the area.
This is a strictly non-smoking property and no pets are allowed. We ask our guests to respect the quiet nature of our residential neighbourhood.
I am retired and my wife and I love to travel and have used AirBnB as well as many times as well as home exchanges. As a result I believe I have a good idea of what my guests look for in a rental and a visit to the area.
