This large Victoria style house is nestled in the quite Congress Park neighborhood. While calm and quite it is a 5 min walk from the Botanical Gardens, Congress Park, and 15 from the night life on Colfax and Cherry Creek. A 15 bike ride puts you in the middle of downtown. There is ample community space in the house to always be alone if desired and the front and backyard patio gardens are peaceful places to relax and eat meals. Outdoor crossfire style gym in backyard.

The space

The third bed listed as "common space" is a cozy loft at the top of the house. It is accessed by ladder only, so if you are booking for three people please know that one person will have to climb a ladder to get to bed. That being said, it lies directly under a skylight so you can fall asleep under the stars.

Guest access

The entire common space is available to guests including living room, kitchen, two full bathrooms, back patio, and outdoor gym.

Interaction with guests

Until the end of 2017, I will be generally unavailable except by text. My roommate Sophie will be taking over the listing while I am gone.

Other things to note

I have a roommate who is very friendly and usually likes to socialize with guests if they desire. There is a second roommate, Austin, and he and Sophie are both wonderful people in interact with.

Good stay! Cool hosts and a good location, short Lyft rides to downtown or other areas.

A unique space in a historic house. Well maintained, pride of ownership. May not be for everyone, but it worked out very well for me. I visit Denver frequently and hope to stay here again.

I had a great time staying here. Sophia (filling in for Ian) was a lovely host- welcoming, friendly, informative and readily available for questions. I enjoyed spending time and talking with her and her roommate, as they are both quite interesting, but there was also alot of privacy when I needed it. The furnishings are eclectic, the vibe is casual. The house has some beautiful decorative elements, lots of stained an etched glass, cool carved wooden moldings, some exposed brick, interesting tile work, etc. I felt very much at home, as this place reminded me of my student days, in a good way... There are two adorable, friendly, well-behaved little dogs. My room was adequate, with a chair, a dresser and a sizable closet. The bed was quite comfortable. The location was perfect for me, as I was in town for a workshop that was a pleasant 20 minute walk away, but there isn't very much around close-by, aside from a nice coffee shop, a market that I didn't venture into, and a few restaurants about 5 blocks away. However, the bus stop is just a block away, and takes you into downtown, and of course, there's always Uber. The amazing Botanical Gardens are a 5-minute walk. I recommend staying here, and would stay here again.

Nice location in a quiet neighborhood, but within walking distance of plenty of restaurants and entertainment. Very nice house from the 1800s, kept clean.
