Miki is a nice guy. We kept in contact the whole time and he picked us up from airport, which was very friendly. The apartement is also nice and well located near many restaurants and the sand beach. The air conditioning saved our life especially at Night. ;) We would recommend the studio, when there will be a new bed inside, because it was very loud and it built "waves" after every motion. The kitchen is nice, but without a working toaster. All in all it was a nice stay in Santa Ponça at Mikis apartement.

We did enjoy our holiday, but we will not stay in the apartment again, because there where some things that bothered us a lot. Let's start with what we liked most, which was of course the location of the apartment. A few seconds to the water, 3 minutes to a sandy beach, a street with the best restaurants and bars of the area right in front of the house, there is nothing more to ask for. The apartment is small, but large enough for a couple. On the small terrace we where able to have breakfast, store our bikes and dry our laundry. Having a laundry machine in the apartment was very nice. A small downside of the terrace was that in the evenings the air was very still and damp on the terrace, a magnet for mosquito. Inside the apartment the kitchen is large enough to cook if you need it, and having a large refrigerator is very useful. Unfortunately, the fridge is in the same room as the bed and something in it can start to vibrate, which was loud enough to wake us in the night. We quickly found out that this can be fixed by sticking something under the fridges door to elevate it a few mm. But that didn't really help us sleep, because the bed is horrible. The worst bed I slept on in years, and most of the problems come from the strange mechanism that is used to transform the couch to a bed. It is some kind of folding mechanism which folds the mattress on multiple points, and there is no way of fixating this mechanism. The consequence is, that when you put pressure on some points they will lower and other points will rise. After a few minutes of laying on the bed it had a wave form that was very bad for our backs. We even where afraid that the whole mechanism would eat us in our sleep. Only after a few days we had the idea to push the couch table under the tip of the mattress. This did not fully prevent the wave form, but at least it helped that the bed would correct itself instead of staying in it's uncomfortable shape. But that's not all, because the bed is very loud. Every light move you make generates a squeaking sound, which was very annoying. What helped us sleep was the air conditioner, it was very effective and not too loud. At home, when we can't sleep we tend to check our smartphones to waste some time. But not in this case. Yes, the apartment does have WiFi, but it is not a good implementation. There is no private WiFi of the apartment, but instead the apartment block has a shared WiFi for all apartment's. You connect to a unprotected and thus unsafe access point and enter a login for the apartment. And there is exactly one session allowed. Got two smartphones? Don't expect to surf at the...

Me and my sister have been in Santa Ponsa for four days. The studio was really nice and the beach was directly behind the back door. The main sand beach was only a one minute walk away. We really enjoyed the time in Santa Ponsa, it is a really nice City, with a lot of sweet little shops and a really nice beach! Miki was very kind to us, we had problems to rent a car, so he came to the airport and picked us up. He gave us some tips, what we should see on Mallorca. And at the studio he showed us everything and explained us the things, we need to know. We would come back every time!
