Enjoy the stunning views, a glass of wine by the fire, some trout fishing, kayaking or explore the surrounding attractions such as the historic town of Oatlands and the Coal River Valley with its wineries and local produce.

The space
Within a stones-throw of the water, this well designed house has everything you'd want from a holiday home. Completed in 2021, the place is warm and filled with light. There are lots of living spaces in- and outdoors, two queen bed rooms, modern bathroom and toilet. The kitchen is well equipped for the hobby chef including a basic pantry. The cosy mezzanine floor offers amazing views over the lakes and the wood heater is a great place to curl up in front of on a rainy day.

This house is as much about its beautiful architecture and cosy feel as it is about the outdoors. The large deck, jetty, outdoor fire-pit and extensive lawn provide great areas for play and relaxation. No matter what the weather throws at you, there is plenty to do. Situated between Lake Sorell and Lake Crescent, there are several boat ramps in the area and trout fishers are well catered for. The Interlaken Lakeside Reserve, literally across the road from the house, is listed as a Ramsar wetlands site and a paradise for bird watchers. And why not take one of our kayaks out and explore the shoreline of Lake Sorell. There is an abundance of wildlife in the area and you will regularly see wallabies, possums, wombats, echidnas, eagles and occasionally Tasmanian devils.
