The dwelling is in the bottom half of a townhouse (in DC we call them row houses.) It is almost 100 years old- and is sensitive to the use of multiple appliances at the same time. There is no stove, but we do have a microwave, a countertop oven, an electric frying pan, a coffee-maker with Keurig accessories, a crock pot slow cooker, a milk shake maker and more...

My husband and I love DC. We enjoy its free concerts, museums and art galleries. We travel a lot and have lived on four different continents. Our favorite place on Earth is Rock Creek Park- less than two blocks from our house. We have met some very wonderful people who offer their homes for Airbnb! We like to get a 'feel' for what it is like to live in other cities and countries and Airbnb homes make that possible.
