The apartment is very well placed in terms of the city, Oxford Street and Hyde Park. Even though it's a busy area, the apartment is very quiet. Staff at the apartments were friendly and helpful and the whole experience was fantastic.

Thanks for your comment - greatly appreciated. It is very seldom that we have guests staying as long as you and do more cooking. I am aware of the fact that OAKS leave sparse supplies and these dont present an issue with guests staying 3-4 days. In the future in such circumstance i'll be supplying those things personally. Stayed here for 10 nights over Christmas and new year. We travelled as a family of 4 adults. It was in a good location. Within walking distance to circular quay, darling harbour train station and bus stop. The apartment was a good size and there was enough room for the four of us…

Just a few clarifying comments on Michala's review. The Oaks manages the apt for us and i agree that the cleaning supplies are sparse. I'l endevour to provide more of this in the future but will also make clearer to guests that if they contact me i'll have the small issues attended to within the same day. Wi-fi is provided by Oaks. I have negotiated with them a 50% reduction ($42.00pw or $9.00pd vs normal $85pw/18.00pd). From now on i'll further subsidise 50% of the weekly and daily rate so that the cost to the guests will be $20.00pw and $5.00pd respectively (2-3 day cost i'll subsidize fully). he problem with oven was that the door wouldn't close fully (living a gap of approx 15mm at the top. This would still allow grilling/ heating (but not baking). This must have happened only very recently and is being attended to. Same with air con. On the day Michala checked-in (or the day before) the fan in the aircon failed and was working only on a low setting. Consequently, the cooling wasn't at it's maximum. I'm not sure why Michala wasn't ofered fans earlier but will make sure in the future that this is the case - the fans are always available. As it happened the jacuzzi also had to fail (somw 3 weeks earlier). As it has been happening too often, decision was made to rebuild it completely anew and the process has already started. It is hoped it will be ready in the middle of the year. It all shows that communicating is never enough. Some of the issues might have been alleviated by by offering advise (i.e. oven)
