Located off the scenic Bottleneck Drive nestled between orchards, vineyards and award-winning wineries with sweeping lake and valley views in the beautiful Okanagan Valley

Two wineries are located a short (10-20 min) scenic walk away offering tasting rooms with panoramic lake view patios for you to enjoy a glass of wine and light snack

The space
Our 2-bedroom suite with free high-speed Wi-Fi Internet offers queen and king beds with comfortable cotton sheets, cozy blankets, and hypoallergenic pillows. The suite has a ductless mini-split-system heat pump for heating and cooling and all bedrooms include summer cooling fans and independent heating for winter stays.

The two new bathrooms have custom tile showers, glass doors, quartz countertops and bright windows that provide ample space for you to refresh in each morning or a cool refreshing shower after a sunny day at the lake.

The fully equipped kitchen with its bright quartz countertops offers you all the amenities and appliances to prepare wonderful full meals or snacks. The kitchen banquette with its custom handmade table easily provides comfortable seating for six. The outside private covered patio and seating area with BBQ offers you another area to prepare meals or quietly enjoy an early morning sunrise with coffee or an evening glass of wine, all the while enjoying the tranquil lake and valley views or the evening lights of Penticton and Naramata across the lake. If you are lucky, you will be treated to the local wildlife of quail and deer that can often be seen in the yard.

The bright family room includes one queen and one twin memory foam sofa beds which are best suited for children or small adults. A 50” TCL Roco Smart TV is available for you to use with your own streaming accounts or with the included free channels. In the winter, the cozy electric fireplace provides a wonderful place to unwind in front of after a day of skiing at Apex or winter activities at near by West Kelowna.

Guest access
Guest parking in the driveway for up to two cars is included, with additional parking available for larger vehicles on the street. Arrangement can be made with us upon your arrival to store your small recreation equipment (bikes, canoes, water toys etc.) in the locked garage.

From the suite you can take a short down hill walk (10-15 mins) to Peach Orchard Beach Park that offers up sandy beaches, dog friendly beach area, swimming area, waterpark, and lake front walkway. The Summerland Resort offers paddle board, jet ski, boat rentals and more. Enjoy dining at Shaughnessy’s Cove restaurant on its fantastic lake view patio. Please note that walking back up the hill to the suite could be difficult for some individuals depending on fitness levels.

My wife Kathleen and I enjoy travelling and meeting people from all over the world. In 2020 we moved to our lake and valley view home in beautiful Summerland in the South Okanagan of British Columbia, in the heart of Wine Country. In 2021-22 we completed extensive renovations to develop a legal self contained suite that we are now welcoming guests to come and enjoy.
