Where you’ll be

Sherwood Park, Alberta, Canada

This home is one of the first 4 model homes located on a historic street developed in 1955 when Sherwood Park was called Campbelltown. The museum is located a block away along with all other amenities guests might need. This is a very safe and quiet neighbourhood. Passersby enjoy visiting my yard as I have a 'Little Free Library" on a post near the sidewalk on a neatly landscaped front yard. Our block is unique to Sherwood Park as it is designated and acknowledged as a historic area - walk a few steps to the west and you'll find a historic sign post and plaque highlighting the significance of this block.

Hello travellers. I’ve recently retired from my career as a special education teacher and I’m happy to say that after a 3-year hiatus I’m hosting on Airbnb again!
I’m once again looking forward to meeting people from all over my country and the world. My first language is English but after living in Quebec City for a year in my youth, I can also communicate a little in French.
In my spare time I like to be outside in nature gardening, camping, walking etc., or I like to be inside making stuff! Retirement has afforded me time to explore a wide variety of creative activities.

I look forward to meeting you in person or virtually, to welcome you to my little bungalow!

During your stay

I don't travel out of the city when I have guests, therefore I'm typically less than 15 minutes away in East Edmonton.
