The space
The Pentcasa apartment has a 25 square meter terrace with a fantastic panorama in all 4 directions. Absolute privacy. Here you can tan seamlessly without being seen from the neighborhood. The Pentcasa is located on the 3rd floor. There is no elevator and you feel fit and free when you get to the top. Here you live in your own world. Above the penthouse there is also an insane roof terrace.
In the apartment you will find everything you need on 28 square meters. A very comfortable double bed (190 cm x 140 cm) in the bedroom is equipped with a modern comfort mattress, duvets and pillows of the best quality. Here is a large window with a north view of the mountains of Monchique.
A small bathroom with shower with hot water, toilet and sink is located on the south side of the apartment and has a door with a window through which a lot of light falls in. Here you can access the wind-protected south balcony with sea view.
In the living room there is a cozy sofa, which can be converted into a guest bed for a third person, a bar table and the kitchenette with hand-painted tiles. A large glass door leads to the terrace with additional seating. There is also a large grill, deck chair + parasol. Since the terrace goes around the corner you always find sun or cool house shade. Since the windows are facing north, the apartment does not heat up and an air conditioner in the bedroom ensures a pleasant night's sleep.
A pellet stove provides cozy warmth in winter. There is also electric heating in each room and in the bathroom.
In the building there are 5 more apartments that are not inhabited by tourists. Also downstairs in the café or next door in the snack bar you will be pampered by the very normal Portuguese ambience. Here there is a delicious espresso for 60 cents.
