Our villa is surrounded by a natural forested area on a gently sloping hillside, providing total privacy within a secure development. It enjoys beautiful sea-views and is just 400m from the beach on Samui's sought-after northern coast. Its beautiful pool, 3 en-suite bedrooms, study, spacious living and playroom areas comfortably accommodates 3 to 4 couples, or larger groups if children are included. The entire villa is air-conditioned and is very well equipped including cable TV.

The space

Nestled within a secluded wooded area but located inside a large secure development, our sea-view villa is just 400m from the beach on Samui's sought-after north coast. It has a beautiful 11m x 4m swimming pool and sun deck area that is totally private. The Villa has wifi throughout. The lower level living and entertainment areas all open directly onto the pool area via large sliding doors. They are comprised of a fully equipped Study (with A/V system), a spacious lounge with cable and surround sound flat screen A/V system, and an 8-seater dining area, kitchen and guest bathroom. The upper level boasts 3 en-suite bedrooms (2 with balconies and sweeping sea views) as well as a large multipurpose room (with TV and DVD system). The living, sleeping and playroom areas comfortably accommodates larger groups. A baby cot is available as are numerous portable mattresses to accommodate extra children.
The Villa is also very child friendly and has numerous toys, a child-seat for cars, strollers, bumbies and high-chairs.
There is a huge flat garden area that is perfect for playing ball games or just soaking up the sun.

Guest access

Our guests enjoy access to all the main Villa areas. The lower floor comprises a study, living area, kitchen and dining room as well as a guest toilet. All these areas open up directly onto the pool and deck area via large glass sliding doors. There is an additional outdoor toilet and shower alongside the pool. The upper floor comprises of 3 en-suite bedrooms (two of which have sea-view balconies) and a very large, fully equipped multi-purpose entertainment playroom. This room can be used to entertain children or for long, lazy massages every afternoon (massages are easily arranged)

Interaction with guests

Our villa manager is available at all times to arrange all things that will make your visit perfect for you. These service include transportation (airport transfers, a taxi or a rental car), advice on the best restaurants and beaches close by, your personal villa chef, visits to local places of interest, special activities such as diving, visits to islands nearby, and other unique Samui adventures.

Other things to note

We employ a Thai Villa Manager who can either meet you upon arrival at the airport or upon check in at the villa, and who will ensure that you settle in smoothly as well as assist you with all your enquiries.
The Villa will be cleaned twice a week (or more often as arranged prior to arrival) and a full laundry service is available.
There are many restaurants close by as well as small convenience stores. However the larger super-markets are located further away. The menu and contact number of one well-known local restaurant that caters for Western and Asian palates is available at the villa. We have arranged with this restaurant to home deliver if required.

House Rules

We ask our guests to behave in the same way that they would like guests to behave in their own home.
We are a non-smoking family but have no problem if guests light up outdoors around the pool deck.
The sewage system on Santithani makes use of septic tanks. These are both reliable and environmentally safe. However, no foreign items should be flushed down the toilets and we ask that toilet paper be used responsibly to avoid blockages.
Electrical supply is generally stable but rechargeable torches are provided throughout the Villa in case of failure.
Ample water is always available at the Villa via two large tanks. However, the island of Samui genuinely does suffer from periodic water shortages. Please be considerate of this situation when using water or linen/towels and the like.
Last but not least, have a wonderful, memorable and magical holiday.

Can't really add much more than the other visitors have said. The villa is really lovely, extremely well equipped (it really has anything you might need) and has fantastic views. We echoed the recommendation of the Som restaurant which we visited a few times as the people there were so friendly and jovial. Food well priced too. We also found a charming little place on the beach - its near the Mimosa Resort on the public beach there and feels like a cross between something from Pirates of the Caribbean and Swiss Family Robinson. I think you really need transport to get around. One night we walked to the Jun Hom restaurant which is not too far but I'm afraid we weren't over impressed with it. Maybe just caught them on a bad night ? Its also worth having a look at the south of the island - it feels less sophisticated and developed and an interesting contrast. If you like snorkelling the big destination is Koh Tao (which is great but busy and 1 - 1 1/2 hours away) or Tor can arrange a private long tailed boat to Koh Matsum and Koh Tean from Taling Nam if you want a less full on day. Surprisingly we also found a worthwhile off-the-beach snorkelling experience at Coral Cove Beach.

The Villa was wonderful. Large, comfortable and with a lovely pool. The location was good and we enjoyed the local beach restaurants. It was a bit too far for me to walk in the heat to the beach but only a very short drive. Gregory was very helpful throughout and a great host. Thank you very much.

We had a wonderful stay and I cannot recommend the villa highly enough. Gregory was excellent at communicating and answering any questions we had prior to our arrival, and from the moment we arrived in Samui our every need was taken care of by Tor the villa manager. We have a 6 month old baby and the villa was so well equipped with all the essentials (cot, high chair, bumbo, car seat) that we didn't have to think about bringing all these things with us. We hired a car which I think is essential, and again this was taken care of for us so that the car was at the villa on our arrival at very reasonable prices. The Villa is in a superb setting in a quieter part of the island with fantastic sea views yet it is easy to get to the busier parts such as Bophut or Chaweng if needed. We had some lovely evenings at some local restaurants nearby but mostly we ordered Thai food from a local restaurant and they were only too willing to deliver to the villa. The villa does have a fully equipped kitchen but we couldn't have cooked better food ourselves so we opted for the takeaway service! All in all we had a fantastic holiday and will look forward to returning again in the future.

We loved the villa a lot. It's very relaxing and in a nice quiet environment. Just lovely. But a car or motorbike is necessary as it's a little bit away of everything. Greg is a wonderful host and always fast in answering in case of any question or issue.

I loved this location and house. I burn instantly in the sun, so I loved that the house provided some shade for the pool during some times of day. The pool itself was really nice; it was easy to just jump in and out whenever I wanted; And there was an outdoor shower as well. I loved the remote location, but my wife, the extrovert, did wish we were in a busier area. I was on working holiday, so it was perfect for me. You will probably need a car to get in and out of the area. Sadly, there was some noisy construction in the area as of March 2017, but the whole island seems to be under construction, so you are likely to run into some anywhere. The internet is really fast in certain spots but good for general use else where in the house. The view is really nice and the whole vibe of the house is calming. If you have kids, there are some toys, car seats and cribs. There are stairs, but we blocked the entrances. We were a bit concerned about the pool for our newly walking toddler, but it is surrounded by pebbles and rocks, and he never crossed the line and we were always watching him anyway. There is a manager who is available to help all the time. We got a nanny one day and had them arrange taxi rides when we needed them and ordered take out food. Overall, I liked the place.
