Great place to stay if you have a car and want to see Galway and Connemera. We managed as far south as the Burren and as far North as Achill Island. It was a reasonable drive to get to the port to the Arran Islands as well. Anthony was a great host and even met us the first day in Headford to ensure that we coukd find our way.

Excellent value and perfect location for a quiet getaway. Kitchen is well-equipped for cooking nice meals to enjoy by the cozy fireplace. Lots of linens and dishes and glassware available. Sheep were grazing right out the windows. The owner's cousin met us at a local grocery store to lead us right to the property. He was very helpful and friendly. We definitely recommend this place.

We had a great stay at Anthony's place. Great location and our stay was made very easy. A real genuine experience. Having a car was an absolute must. Make use of the fire place or expect to be very cold but it's easy enough. Shower badly needs an update but everything else was fantastic. Highly recommend if you want to see west Ireland.

The Peaceful Cottage is a typical irisch cottage, located in a typical irisch counyry setting, amongst cows, sheep en stone hedges. Very quit en beautiful located near the lovely place Cong. The interieur is simple and a little bit outdated, but every thing you may need is present. Very thougtfull. We were warmly welcomed by Anthony's cousin Devinia and her brother, even though we arrived a little bit later as aspected. The beds slept very comfortabel and there is a very good wasching machine and dryer. Connamora is very, very beautiful, we loved it.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at 'Peaceful Cottage' County Mayo. Prior to our visit communication with our host was timely and efficient. The property managers met us in a nearby village and escorted us to the cottage. They were warm and welcoming giving us valuable information about the cottage itself as well as suggestions of what to see and do in the surrounding area. The cottage is set in the midst of picturesque Irish countryside, so tranquil and beautiful. We were surrounded by farms with curious cows, beautiful horses and luscious fields divided by ancient stone fences. The cottage itself is well built with good electrical and plumbing. The furnishings are somewhat tired but it has a homey feel. This property has great potential and with a few upgrades will be a gem.
