Nestled in the hills of the Olympic Mountains is our 1 bedroom guest "sweet" located beneath main residence. Enjoy the lovely setting of this romantic spot in nature overlooking our 40-acre buffalo ranch and 3 acre pond while sitting at a warm firepit. Views of Deer Park and Olympics. Plenty of wildlife and near hiking trails. Mt. Tyler and Mt. Baldi await! Close to the quaint farming town of Sequim and all the other spectacular features our Peninsula offers!

The space
500 sqft guest suite located beneath our main residence. Separate parking and entrance. Private living, dining, kitchenette, bath and bedroom. Two flat screen tv. Starlink WiFi for a higher speed connection. Streaming channels. Landline for emergencies. Kitchenette offers microwave, apartment sized refrigerator, toaster, and instapot for cooking. BBQ available upon request. Not all guests want to cook! Lol

Traveling with another? Brand new sofa bed actually rolls out and is comfortable... not like those of yesterday. Additional bedding provided along with memory foam for more comfort.

Propane firepit outside on patio with 4 chairs.

Our driveway is about 3/4 mile long. Slow for dust, 5-10 miles hour please, you'll pass 5 neighbors along the way. We have a security gate labeled with Seldom Seen. I provide the code prior to check-in.

Other things to note
Our property isn't really pet friendly or kid friendly due to wild animals, large pond and allergies. Please don't hesitate to ask, might be a possibility if infant or smaller hypoallergenic dog.

Neighbourhood highlights

Our home is situated on 40 acre buffalo ranch. We have a wide open space and are surrounded by DNR land and neighbors who have 10 acre parcels. Very nice and private with a security gate at the entrance to our property. Our private 500 sqft guest apartment is located beneath our home with a separate entrance. You might hear the occasional footsteps... Perfect for two but available for four.

I'm almost a Sequim Pioneer! My family moved here from Alaska in 1972 and my husband Steve is from Forks, Wa. We love the Olympic Peninsula. I'm an Elementary School Secretary and Steve is an amazing custom home designer and builder. He created everything you see here at Seldom Seen... including the pond. This is a true hidden treasure of Sequim.
