The Creekside Casita is the ideal location for your next escape from the hustle and bustle of big city life. It is located in the small, hidden community of Grey Forest, otherwise known as a "Scenic Playground", with less than 500 citizens nestled in a picturesque Texas Hill Country setting.

The space
The Creekside Casita is a private studio on shared land with our main house. The Creekside Casita has direct access to a seasonal creek nestled in the trees. A simple, clean space with two large picture windows and a large sliding window door that combine to bring the serene feel of the hill country right inside! Out of the sliding window door is a large deck that overlooks much of the property and the creek. It truly is an ideal spot to soak in a beautiful sunrise with a cup of coffee, practice yoga, dine al fresco, and of course, relax.

From the deck steps you can access the back of the property where you will find plenty of space that includes a hammock amidst the trees that you are welcome to use as a peaceful spot to read or even take a nap. For the adventurist in you, there’s also a path that leads down to the seasonal Helotes Creek, which runs through our quaint community of Grey Forest. Directly across the creek from the casita is the Scenic Loop Playground Club where you can find basketball hoops, a tennis court, dog park, small playground and more!

We encourage guests to explore our charming and quiet community via its winding rural roads where you’ll find rolling hills, breathtaking views, eclectic homes and friendly neighbors that will likely wave you hello.

Guest access
Guests can privately access the entire casita space that includes a mini kitchen, full bathroom with stand-in shower, living space, and deck. Guests are also welcome to use the backyard area that does include a dog run where you may find our friendly four-legged children running around from time to time.

For parking, guests can use the gravel road to the left of the vegetable garden. This will provide you with privacy that will lead directly to the casita via the "boardwalk".

For guests staying 3 or more nights, a washer and dryer space connected to the casita is available. You are welcome to utilize these items, just reach out and ask!
