The location was great - adjacent to a park and walking/running path. It was an easy walk to the Main Street of Georgetown providing easy access to dining and entertainment. Amenities made the stay easy and comfortable - toiletries, wifi, coffee, and full kitchen. Robert was a great host and checkin/out was very easy.

We really enjoyed our stay. It was warm and comfortable which was good as it was very cold when we visited. Robert left us directions for check in as we arrived late. He stopped in the next day to see that we had all we needed. We did! We had everything we needed for our stay. We also appreciated having a parking pass as parking can be an issue in D.C. Robert left lots of info about local eateries, attractions, the metro, even a reading list!!Thanks too for the bottle of wine we received!! It was in a great area, not too far from the metro, which is great for Georgetown. And Georgetown is fantastic, beautiful area. There is a nice park across the street which was enjoyed on one warm day. Very walkable, restaurants and shops close. We were worried about noise since it is a basement, but it was quiet. We could hear people occasionally but it wasn't excessive. The only thing we would have liked is a door between the bedrooms. My husband enjoys the tv, and I prefer to read. We disturb each other in the night some, too. But I did enjoy the bed in the back room. Cozy spot. Thank you!! We look forward to staying here again.

Had a nice stay at roberts! Was only in town for 4 days and it was good for coming back to and sleeping! Looks exactly like the pictures! As said in many reviews its quite dark because it is a basement apartment. Neighbourhood was so nice! I loved georgetown! Id recommend it if your not going to be spending full days there, can get kind of depressing, especially when its nice out! Overall robert was incredibly nice, even left us a bottle of wine! Thanks again robert!

Excellent experience. Arrived late and left early, but had no problem making easy arrangements with Bob. The location is fantastic - minutes from M street and about a 15 minute walk with GWU. The apartment had all the amenities someone would need for a longer stay (washer/dryer, kitchen, etc.). The bed was a single, but even at 6'2'' I was pretty comfortable. I'll definitely look to stay here in the future trips.

There was plenty of information on hand for newcomers to DC to help make my way around.

Response from Robert:
My only thought would be to add her comments to me also available, namely: What Linda loved about your listing: “Concenience, cleanliness, everything I needed right, and beautiful neighborhood.” What Linda thinks you can improve: “No need for improvement”

Robert made us feel very welcome. He was friendly and very quick in the communication. He even sent tips for the weekend, which were very useful and fun. On top of that, Georgetown is a very charming town, and very close to other key places in DC.

Robert met me right when I arrived and showed me the apartment, even helping me with my bags He provided a cart for carrying groceries back from the store, and gave me a map showing the locations of grocery stores, shops, trails, and even a 24 hour CVS pharmacy and 7-11. The apartment was clean, and a great layout for one person. The kitchen was spacious and clean. The washer and dryer were wonderful to have to, especially staying for five weeks. I enjoyed my stay there and would go back.
