This old family home has been in the host's family since it was built in the 1880s. It is comfortably furnished with antiques - many of which have also been in the family for generations.
Guests are welcome to use the drawingroom or to wander in the large, well-stocked garden.
Interaction with guests
We will always be willing to let you know interesting places for you to visit or to make suggestions of places to eat.
Warminster is midway between Bath and Salisbury. Longleat is close by, as is Stonehenge and the lovely National Trust Gardens at Stourhead.
There is a ttrain station in Warminster with regular trains to London and the West Country.
We have two friendly dogs - please let us know if you would prefer not to meet them! I am afraid that we do not allow guests to bring their own pets and smoking is not allowed anywhere in the house. Guests may smoke in the garden if they wish.
