COUNTRY house located 20 miles NW of Page AZ, 50 miles East of Kanab UT. LAKE POWELL, The Wave / Coyote Buttes, Grand Staircase 10 minutes. Bryce & Zion 2 hours, Grand Canyon 2-3 hours. Base rate is for 4 guests ONLY. Each add'l guest, $15 per night per guest. Honesty required about number of people who will use the house - exterior video surveillance 3 NIGHT minimum.
Comfortable country house with open living area easily accommodates larger group, 3 bedrooms, bunk room, 2 baths, fenced yard, 2 patios plus front porch seating outdoors, BBQ Grill, Firepit. Very near The Wave, Coyote Buttes, Paria Slot Canyons, and Lake Powell. Great area for Hikers, Boaters, ATVers. Popular area for international hiking experiences plus Lake Powell boating & fishing. Miles and miles of back country public roads for 4 wheeling and ATVs.
Base price is for up to 8 authorized guests, but we may consider more people with a $15 per person per night additional charge.
Ample parking along streets on front & side. Take a morning walk to the Grand Staircase entrance only 1/4 mile north of the house. Rural community centrally located between Lake Powell Country and Paria / Vermillion Cliffs. Quiet, serene, fresh clean air, dark-skies to see all the stars.
Unique door code given to each reservation during check-in proces. Easy to locate, just 2 blocks off Highway 89 at mile marker 13 in Southern Utah. House is completely furnished including all kitchen needs and washer/dryer. Outdoor living includes covered front porch with seating, covered back patio with fan/light, table/chairs. BBQ Grill & portable firepit are located on Uncovered Patio for safety reasons.
No internet access in this rural area (yet), so guests use theirAT&T or T-Mobile phone data plans or visit free wifi hotspots in Page AZ such as Dennys, McDonalds, or Starbucks/Safeway.

911 emergency service is available at the vacation rental.
Interaction with guests
Owners are available, but live off-site. We plan to meet our guests when they check-in and provide their door code at that time. We require a mobile phone so we can stay in touch via text messaging. This ensure guests arrive safely and get answers to questions during their stay and when they check-out.

VIDEO SURVEILLANCE - The property has video cameras placed outdoors to view the parking area and home entrances. Video is not shared and is security and liability purposes and does not infringe on expectation of privacy in these areas. Any attempt at disabling or obscuring the cameras is prohibited and may result in the Tenants being evicted without refund.
Only guests included on reservation and rental agreement are allowed to use the house. Pets and Children are case-by-case, so please include information about your pets (breed, age, male/female) and number & ages of children.
Please leave the house in the same condition as when you check-in.
Strict no smoking in the house.
Only use the gas grill or firepit in the open - not under patio or porch roofs.
When leaving the house, please lock 2 back doors manually from inside. Then exit front door, push SCHLAGE button, and turn deadbolt to lock - check to make sure it locks.
Keep fence gates closed at all times to keep local dogs from doing stuff on the lawn.
Do not leave doors & windows open when running AC or Heat - it overloads the system.
Hot water is "on demand" and may be slow to reach faucets, but is unlimited.
Retired and enjoy traveling to other parts of USA using an RV. At home, we like to boat & fish on Lake Powell, ride ATVs to naturally scenic areas & forests locally, go camping in our home area, and go hiking and driving back roads in the Paria / Glen Canyon area.
