Description

Hidden in the heart of Boulder, this large studio in back--part of larger condo-- has it's own separate entrance facing a frequently used alley--well-lit and frequented by locals. Close to CU, Naropa, Pearl Street and airport bus. Dedicated wifi perfect for working remotely.

Large room, part of larger condo with separate entrance--almost a separate unit, it really is a hidden gem--a secret little hideaway in the heart of Boulder. All new appliances, including a washer and drier, it was recently painted and updated. Sip your morning coffee on the enclosed patio. Use the high-speed internet to keep up with business. Build a fire in the fireplace for a romantic evening. This space has it all including a designated parking place--a real plus in Boulder's downtown area where parking is a premium.

Walk to CU, Naropa, Pearl Street restaurants, and downtown Boulder. Use the famous Boulder Creek bike path--walking or biking. Visit Dushambee Tea House (5 blocks) and Farmer's Market (5 blocks) also on foot--easy walks.

Self check in (3:00 p.m.) and check out (11:a.m.)

Older, well-established neighborhood with mix of young families, seniors, and students. The Boulder neighborhood with the highest walkability rating meaning there are lots of people out and about with dogs, kids and backpacks. Boulder's draconian noise ordinance means student parties and loud stereos are rare.

Boulder is a biking town. Bikes can be rented at several convenient kiosks. Buses are frequent and easy to work. Parking is regulated in the neighborhood but this space comes with designated parking space near separate entrance.

You will need to follow directions. Maps will take you to the street side of this complex. You want the alley entrance behind. Not a problem, we will give you good directions that are easy to follow.

John's place was clean, a great location, and very comfortable. My friend and I stayed there for two nights and it was the perfect size and home base for our trip to Boulder. We also appreciated his guestbook - it made choosing dinner our first night there a breeze.

John and his place were nothing but great for our stay. The description was accurate (if anything it undersold the place) and in a great spot to Boulder. I would recommend to anyone to stay here!

John's place is a fantastic spot to either spend the visit with a cup of coffee to recharge or to hit the town. The space is modern and really well designed. John has provided everything you could possibly need--books, dvds, coffee, tea, shampoo, and conditioners. The location is central to Pearl Street which is about a 10 minutes walk away. While we didn't get to meet John, the check in and check out process was really straight forward. He also has a nice guidebook on airbnb to get your trip started.

Everything exactly as expected from pictures/description. Very clean. A pleasant walk to the downtown Pearl St. area and to campus. Good communication with host. If you are looking to sleep in late and are very sensitive to noise or light, it might not be the best place for you (no blackout drapes, and you can hear neighbors in morning), but for me it wasn't a problem. I'd certainly choose stay here again the next time I'm in Boulder.
