the BASQUIAT loft - Bright, spacious & trendy apt facing a new city park just a few blocks away from the Old Port sights & activities. High ceilings & huge windows with full kitchen and closed bedroom make this a gem for longer stays. No car needed as you are a short walk from the Old port waterfront and not much further to the Entertainment district of downtown Montreal. Easy walk to the best restos, clubs, historical sites and family activities in the city. Doesn't get more central than this!

You could spend a weekend here and never walk more than 5 blocks. Club Chasse et peche, Maison St-Paul are top-rated restaurants a few block away. Check for a table on the terrace of the Salumi Vino (great Italian), 2 blocks away on Notre-Dame (tell Mario Sean sent you), Best Italian coffee shop in the city is Café Mercanti, Next to Salumi Vino. Frank, Ron and Christine are amazing and do try their spicy veg sandwich. New restaurant called LOAM just opened, with great ambiance, trendy vibe and outstanding food, walk across the park, up Bonsecours/St-Denis 2 blocks and you're there! They also have a great Brunch! My personal favorite is an unassuming place on St-Paul called “Tiers Paysage”, simply an outstanding culinary experience and actually quite reasonably priced. About a 10 min walk west on st-Paul (22 St-Paul East). If you would like to dine where the gorgeous and trendy montrealers go, try “Fish Bone” on a Thursday nite, fusion sushi menu is outstanding but you really have to reserve a few days before. About a 20 min walk west, 3 blocks up Bonsecours/St-Denis then along Notre-Dame street. Say hi to Fabio!
