Family sized traditional Mongolian yurt in stunning quiet position overlooking uninhabited valleys. A very romantic spot. One week stays only, starting Saturdays in high season (summer holidays) The rest of the year we have changeover days on Fridays and Mondays so short breaks are possible. Located on fascinating small organic farm/ little community. Be reclusive or sociable! In lovely secluded location on organic farm with fire pit. Be immersed in nature - dawn chorus second to none.

Neighbourhood highlights

This is sheep country - 25 of them to every one of us! So it feels remote and there is no sound of traffic. But the small friendly market town of Llanidloes is only for miles away - or an hours walk. There you can mix with the locals in the market or one of the pubs. Its a special place - beyond the commuters run, with a strong sense of community and a welcome to visitors,

I'm an organic farmer, with a passion for wildlife, woods, art, people. I love the outdoor and creative life that growing food and rebuilding a once derelict traditional farm offers. From the farm we run an archaeological company and run courses in prehistoric arts. We practise traditional crafts like stone carving, basket making.
