Great communication

The Coach House is really a unique space, not only does it serves as a home, it also is an important space in our community. We run workshops and open the space up for events that support our local nature in every sense.
Please note the 29 th / 30 th May and June for 4 weekends we are hosting Artists Open House. Of course you can still stay :) The Exhibition runs from 12-6pm - You would have the space to yourselves after then but of course are welcome up here from 2pm check in time to see

The space
Welcome to this unique space in the middle of Kemptown close to all amenities the Sussex downs and sea. The Coach House is a space that welcomes everybody.

The Coach House is an open plan space for people to enjoy. We welcome groups, families, individuals, students, everyone. Our rules are quite simple we are vegetarian, non smoking and respect our neighbourhood.

Accommodation the building is set out to be versatile as we run workshops, courses and events here. The space has a rustic charm about it with a wooden floor and ceiling and wonderful garden and yard.
We have two single beds set behind the curtains at the back which are very cosy!- they also pull out as 2 double beds ! a King size double bed can be made ( see in the picture) -
We also have two beds above these are on the mezzanine. Because they are high we ask that children do not sleep up there! you need to climb a ladder to go up there. We also have camp beds and mattresses for over flow guests.
There is a shower and toilet and sink dividing the space up and a kitchen that is basic and works well.
The location is excellent and lies in the heart of Kemptown, Brighton, close to all amenities and a wonderful walk to the sea or Sussex downs.

The history of the Coach House:
The Coach House has been many things from a gardener’s cottage for Belle Vue Manor house to an ice skating ring ! and now this truly creative space.
To this day we are purely vegetarian and a non smoking site. We love our neighbours human and animals! and do our best to keep a good profile for everyone here.
we also have a beehive in the back garden!.

Guests will have access to the whole of the space and garden. Depending on the rental will or won't include the Airstream Trailer caravan.

Myself or another will be able to be available if people need help. Depending on what your needs are will depend if we are on site or not!

Ask me about the wonderful lift that takes you to the sea!
Its a wonderful area and feels like being in the middle of the country side yet in the middle of a lovely part of Brighton. The cafes and shops close by are great and they are all friends with the Coach House. We can recommend places to go just ask!

Nature wise we are totally spoilt and have a top bar beehive in the back garden. We also have many bird visitors, our friendly robin, blackbirds, blue tits, magpies, pigeons, doves finches. We also have an abundance of toads that help my garden grow !
Oscar my neighbours cat occasionally visits on his rounds ! and we also had a fox that lived high up in the ivy beside us! So all in all nature is a big part of us.

My human neighbours are all very lovely and i respect their privacy by keeping noise levels down after 10 pm.

There is lots of public transport near by and easy to navigate from a to b. I am happy to help with this if need be. Take advantage of my tour guiding facilities ! The station is 20 mins walk away and buses are at the end of our road.

The Coach House is used as a space for performance, workshops and events. Do have a look at our website. www.atthecoachhouse.co.uk to know whats going on as some times guests will have to fit with the happenings here.
