The space

Chateau Villa is a premium 1 bedroom self contained private suite with 10 ft ceilings; crown mouldings, custom trim work and hand made solid wood doors throughout. a cosy Queen sized bed with an elegant brass framed mirror wardrobe and garden views on three sides. The solid wood floors - piano finish- gleams from the kitchen, through the dining area(seating for 4ppl with garden view) and into the open concept living room (seating for 6ppl - has 1 x sofa bed & 1 x futon sofa bed, flat screen t.v. with satellite and d.v.d player as well as garden view), while the 4 pc bathroom is adorned with warm natural coloured imported marble tiles and custom made French vanity with solid brass taps and basin. The kitchen is fully equipped with a generous supply of wares, along with coffee maker, kettle, mixer and toaster, as well as a large fridge, stove/oven, dishwasher and microwave. There is also a large volume clothes washer and dryer and a hair dryer for added convenience. upon Entering the grounds you travel along a winding drive that meanders through the 10 acre estate, across park like lands, open meadows and past 5 ponds (winter ice skating -weather permitting) the property is surrounded by woodlands. A truly secluded back drop of nature can only be interrupted by a call to B.B.Q as you are beckoned to the outdoor dinning area nestled amongst an enclave of silver birch, maple and oak trees some with 80 + ft spans (+ old fashioned tire swing for the kids)

Parking is free for # of vehicles declared and agreed too in reservation, any additional vehicles on property will result in additional charge of $25.00 x # of nights stay. Parking is only permitted on parking surface/driveway and in designated area. There is absolutely no parking permitted on, or driving on the yard/grass, in the event that the guest or any member of the guests group causes any damages, it will be up to the owner and at the sole discretion of the owner to assess the costs which will be immediately due, in cash plus applicable taxes, at time of check-out, any unpaid amount at time of guest departure will be deducted from damage deposit, any balance remaining will be subject to interest at 24% per annum and compounded daily starting at the time of check out and accumulating until paid in full. The guest and/or guests acknowledge and accept all of the above as conditions of renting.

All rates are subject to applicable taxes of 13% and can change until booked - posted rate is based on a total of 4 people - each additional person is charged $15/ night, maximum occupancy is 6 people . Total # of guests declared on reservation is total # of guest permitted on property and/or in unit at any given time, (no visitors are allowed without the written consent of the owner and must be obtained and authorised by the owner prior to booking ) any undeclared person will be charged $55 x # of nights in booking/stay, regardless when they actually arrived or departed.

No pets permitted on or at property
No smoking in unit, no smoking is permitted within 30 yards of building, smoking guests are responsible to extinguish cigarettes/cigars/pipes, ect., and dispose of in safe manner in exterior garbage. The City of Welland NO SMOKING By-Law is in effect and violators will be fined and/or prosecuted accordingly. Guests are responsible to clean up after themselves when using both common exterior area's and area's inside the rented unit, as well as place all litter in garbage bags and place all bagged garbage in the kitchen, living room and or hallway so as not to cause fire hazard and not to block escape in such an event. At time of check out, guest is required to place all bagged garbage outside exterior entry door to unit upon departure only. Guest must gather all laundry and place into shower stalls prior to departure. Guests must clean and return all kitchen supplies into cabinet's according to location they were placed at time of possession. The rented unit is to be returned in a reasonable state of cleanliness and wear and tear. Upon completion of the outgoing inspection report, and if garbage and/or personal effects belonging to the guest or members of the guest group are not removed from the unit, and/or if excessive untidiness or wear and tear or damages have resulted then an add'l cleaning expense will apply and/or additional costs to repair damages will apply and all additional costs will be due immediately, in cash, upon check out. if the guest is unable to pay in full in cash at time of check out, than any unpaid amount owing will be deducted from the damage deposit, if the damage deposit is not enough funds to pay for these costs than any unpaid balance remaining will be due in full at time of check out and will be subject to a rate of interest equal to 24% per year, compounded daily and accumulating until paid in full. The Guest must sign the Chateau Villa Rental Agreement at time of booking and return a fully completed and signed copy to the owner with in the time stipulated therein and must also be present with the owner to complete both an incoming and an outgoing inspection report, unless other arrangements have been made therein. The guest and /or guests acknowledge and accept all of the above as conditions of renting.

Our dragonboat team rented the Chateau and Chateau Villa in order to attend a race in Welland. We very much appreciated being able to stay so close to the racing venue! The Chateau Villa was a lovely, clean, small apartment on the 2nd floor. We thank Vince for his attentive service and for the memorable stay. Wishing you all the best Vince!
