A comfy, queen-sized futon in the loft awaits your stay.
Shared bathroom facilities on the main level.
Your loft accommodations include a shared-bathroom on the main floor. We built our home in the late 1990s using structural insulated panels (SIPs) so it's comfortable year-round without the need for air-conditioning. We used low-VOC paints throughout and maintain with non-toxic cleaners so it's a very healthy home. Help yourself to as much Multi-Pure filtered water at the kitchen sink as you can drink!
Guests are welcome to the patio and garden at all times. Check out the chicken coop and pick some berries if the season is right. With prior arrangement, you may have access to the kitchen and the comfy living room with wood stove and cable TV.
Interaction with guests
This is our home and we are friendly people. We are early-risers and if you are, too, we can greet you with a hot cup of organic, shade-grown, fair-trade Cafe Mam coffee! Perhaps even a muffin, yogurt, or a pancake or two.
Other things to note
NOTE: This is our private residence, so we do require a refundable $100 security deposit for all reservations--it is authorized by AirBNB before checking in and voided by AirBNB within 48 hours after checking out (unless there is an issue).
No smoking. No pets. No drugs.
Quiet hours are 10 PM to 7 AM on weekdays; 11-8 on weekends. We want your stay to be as pleasant as possible so let us know if there's anything you need that we can reasonably supply.
Both of us are friendly and outgoing. We hand-built our home to share with others and enjoy meeting new people. We like thoughtful films that keep you pondering for a few days afterwards, and good books.
We are both self-employed. Patrick designs smart and simple structures that use resources wisely, and Jill is an actor/voiceover artist and film producer, who also sells wonderful children's books. When not working, Jill loves to read, dance, sew and play games; and, of course, we both enjoy those good films.
