Honeywell is a spacious bungalow surrounded by lovely gardens in the beautiful village of Burley in the New Forest. The house is set on a forestry commission lane overlooking a field with horses. Ponies also roam outside the front gates....Please keep them closed!
There are three good sized double bedrooms - one has a superking sized bed, next there is a king sized bed and the other has two twin beds. All rooms have fitted wardrobes should you need to store anything. The family bathroom is large and there is a separate wc. The kitchen is fully fitted as this is our home not just a holiday let.
The property has a large garden and there is plenty of parking available for 2 or more cars.
We are easily accessible by car from the M3 via the M27 and the A31.
The local village has 3 pubs, a post office and a general store. There is also mountain bike rental centre which is open 7 days a week and has guides to many of the trails that run from the village.
We are close to the towns of Ringwood and the coastal town of Christchurch - Great location for the beaches of Barton on Sea Avon Beach and Studland bay.
The National Motor museum at Beaulieu is close by and can make for a great day out!
The house has a fully equipped kitchen, including microwave , washing machine, tumble dryer, music player, and video player. We have a selection of CDs and DVDs for you to enjoy when relaxing at Honeywell.
We try to welcome all of our guests but if not possible we can arrange for guests to be let into Honeywell.
Burley is about 5 miles from the Avon Valley Market town of Ringwood where a choice of supermarkets can be found together with a range of shopping and professional services. Being within the New Forest National Park opportunities for walking, cycling and riding abound over thousands of acres of Moor,Heath and woodland. The south coast is nearby and various boating centres are easily reached, notably Poole, Muddeford ad Lymington. In addition Burley has a pretty nine hole golf course and others clubs can be located in the vicinity in Ferndown,Bramshaw and Brockenhurst.
There are trains to the nearby villages of Brockenhurst and Sway.
Other things to note
Honey Lane has two entrances. Unless you have a 4x4 don't use the entrance off the Ringwood road as the lane is very rough. Go all the way into burley turn right at the cross down pound lane and continue until you see Honey lane on your right. We are the 3rd house on the right.
No smoking or pets. Please keep the gate closed as the ponies are rather partial to garden plants : )
Our garden is precious to us and we hope you enjoy it too! We request no ball games in the garden to protect the plants.
