The space

You can watch the sun and moon rise over the Atlantic Ocean from the East side of the house and watch the sun and moon set over the Caribbean from the west side of the house. There are views of St Thomas to the east and Puerto Rico to the west.

Guest access

Both apartments have access to the laundry area.

Interaction with guests

I spend summers and winters on Vieques and am happy to provide information regarding this lovely island when I am there. I have a house manager that can be available when I am not there.

Other things to note

There is a Farmer's market on Route 201 on Tuesdays and Fridays for good fresh vegetables and fruit and home baked bread and bakery items.
The Bio bay is wonderful but do not waste your money if moon is even half full during time of tour or you will not see the bioluminescent. Book your tour early as everyone wants to see this amazing bay.

This home is located in a lovely neighborhood with such a fantastic view of the bay and the mainland from the balcony, you will find it hard to pull yourself away. The home itself is very comfortable, cool and with the best equipped kitchen we have stayed in by far. Ample dishes, cookwear, utensils, storage containers, bowls, sharp knives and a BBQ...you name this house has it! Which is wonderful if you like to do your own cooking. Lots of towels, beach accessories, movies, books, hot water and comfy beds. The location is good for walking into the town and around the neighborhood or hopping in the car to find your favorite beach. The street in front of the house is quiet with not a lot of traffic which is nice. We will definitely try and stay here again on a return visit to Vieques.

A very comfortable home, with great furnishings. The house is up the hill from the Ferry making it very conveniently located. The view of sunsets from the porch are absolutely amazing. You will want a car to make best use of the island but the number of things with in an easy walk will keep you very busy. We made use of the well stocked kitchen most evenings thanks also to the tuesday/ friday farmers market. Susan was a great help with Vieques infromation.

Staying in this home was the highlight of our trip to Puerto Rico. Susie, their agent, met us at the airport and brought us to the house. In advance of our trip, she had sent a long email giving us suggestions of destinations, tours and activities we could enjoy while on Vieques. We climbed the streets to the house multiple times/day. The house itself is impeccable. The kitchen was the most fully-supplied that we encountered on our trip. I would have stayed another week if it were possible.

Amazing house with even more amazing views! We loved our stay at this house and definitely were not ready to leave when our time was up. The pictures of this property are exactly how you will find it. My friend and I were amazed at the cross breeze through the house which kept it nice and comfortable throughout the night despite the warm temperatures during the day. The house is equipped with a beautifully modern bathroom and kitchen and has a closest full of everything you need for the beach. It was a perfect location and allowed for use to explore the island easily.

The place was just as described. The porch was amazing -there are lights you can plug in so it was very nice at night. The views were spectacular - you could see the ocean from the front and back. We even used the grill to cook lobster tails that we got at the Pescadaria and then ate dinner on the porch! The breeze kept the place cool so lack of a/c was not an issue at all. There were towels and coolers and beach chairs... everything you needed for a stay on an island - including a blender! The neighborhood was quiet for the most part (just one vacation house played music loud but not too late). It was very close to the town Isabel, which is the bigger city. Isabel is definitely the place where the "locals" live. Esparanza is more of the touristy area (and extremely small). I liked staying in Isabel b/c the grocery stores and gas stations were close. So were restaurants, shops and convenice stores. You could walk to town but my mom was afraid of the windy roads! The host themselves were not around but their friend, Susan, helped me out. She was great and got me to the car rental place. She also emailed me her guide to the island and was very easy to get in contact with. I would definitely recommend this place!

Bram and Carol were absolutely awesome. Their place was beautiful with some of the best views around. We showed up for our honeymoon and they had fresh fruit, as well as mimosa's ready for us. The neighborhood was great and I wouldn't hesitate to walk to any of the local restaurants.(if your there be sure to go to Coqui Fire. Absolutely amazing food) The only issue we had was completely our fault. We neglected to check to see if there was Air Conditioning(there isnt). While we were there it was approaching 100 degrees during the day. Being on our honeymoon, this was a problem. We were both so hot we didnt even want to be near each other. We were there in early October when temps are still high. I wouldnt see a problem with staying here with out AC in the cooler months, the place has a fantastic breeze. We decided to re book to another place after a night. I assumed that I would have to eat the cost of the reservation at Bram's. I contacted them and explained the situation. They were more than accommodating and went out of their way to make sure everything was right . Really great people, beautiful place. Would definitely book again.
