You start the clock on island time by hopping onto the Life's Little Diversion golf cart, crossing two bridges and heading down the path to your waterfront getaway. Relax and enjoy the views on any one of the 3 decks or boat dock. Book your stay and head our way and as we say in Louisiana….Laissez les bons temps rouler!

The space
Life's Little Diversion is already starting out to be a new experience since it is located on an island, and you can only get there by boat or golf cart. Once you arrive in the parking lot, look for the Life’s Little Diversion golf cart. Load it up and off you go. As you cross the bridges see if you can spot any alligators. Follow the path and you have arrived!!!

Life’s Little Diversion has everything you need for your perfect get away. The house will sleep 6 guests, but it is really most comfortable for 4. When booking, be aware that the house is for registered guests only, no outside guests are allowed, without prior consent. NO PARTIES are allowed. There are 2 bedrooms with 2 full baths. There is also a loft. If you can scurry up the ladder it has a full and twin-size mattress. There is indoor and outdoor dining. The house is Alexa enabled for lamps and music.

The dock is perfect for relaxing or fishing. We even have a couple of poles. Just bring your favorite tackle or bait. We do recommend that you have a LA fishing license. We also request that if you have small children to bring a life vest for them while on the dock. We are not responsible for slips, falls or plunges off the dock or bulkhead.

Even a rainy day at the river is a good day, there is a covered screened porch so you can still enjoy the outdoors or stay inside for fun and games. Want to roast a few mallows? You can! We will have firewood located right next to the fire pit and marshmallow sticks.
