The space
A secluded place for couples and a home away from home for the single traveller (or business traveller) this newly renovated apartment is under 2km from the historic Bunratty Castle in Co. Clare. It will appeal to those looking for accommodation that combines both luxury and practicality. You will be within daily driving distance to the most beautiful spots in Clare, Kerry Limerick and Cork.

Bright modern one of a kind accommodation with the addition of self catering facilities (unlike the confinement of a hotel room). The apartment is adjacent to the main house (full privacy of an exterior wall dividing 2 houses.)

We just have one apartment so when the dates are gone they are gone.

-Iron and ironing board
-Electric oven with grill and ceramic 4 burner hob.

There is an outdoor dining space in your own small walled private garden for eating outside on those sunny days (we get them once in a while!) The apartment is adjoined to our family home and sits on one acre of private gardens.

Bunratty, County Clare, Ireland

Bunratty (Co. Clare, South West of Ireland) is the perfect central base for those wishing to explore as much of Ireland as possible in one holiday.
We are situated between Ennis and Limerick but we are also a day trip drive away from Galway, Cork, Kerry and Waterford (and Dublin if you are planner!)...so the best of Ireland will be at your doorstep.

Bunratty is most famous for its world renowned 15th Century Bunratty Castle and folk Park which attracts many thousands of visitors each year. This is an ideal location for touring the Cliff's of Moher, the Burren, Aillwee Caves, King John's castle, The Hunt Museum, Bunratty Castle and Folk Park to name but a few.

The apartment/cottage is located in Deerpark, a quiet and picturesque residential area just 2km from Bunratty Castle. Bunratty has always been famous for its lively pubs (Durty Nellies being one of the oldest pubs in Ireland) and the many restaurants which we are happy to recommend. There is a small grocery/deli (with diesel station) just a few minutes walk away from us selling everyday basic essentials (and supermarkets a few miles away).

County Clare is synonymous with its raw natural beauty which is most evident in The Burren area beginning just 30 minutes away from here (the Cliffs of Moher are just 45 -50 minutes away.)

Tickets : Bunratty Village 15th Century castle, folk park, heritage centre (2km away) €11.55 p/p online (€15 at the door).
Tickets: Castle daily banquet 5.30pm or 8.45pm (4 course meal and wine/meade/live Irish music) €55 p/p online.
Tickets: Irish Night at The Barn (4 course meal with wine/Irish dancing/music) €44 pp online.
